It’s hard to overstate how wonderfully professional, detailed, and responsive the team of Jeanne and Pat are.
Let me tell you how I found out about them (hint: Google “Organizers in Oakland!”). I live in Va and was planning to move my elderly parents across country. In short, prior to meeting them, everything that could go wrong with a move went wrong—bait and switch on pricing, terrible packing and negligence which culminated with the previous movers leaving ALL of my parents belongings off the truck, leaving everything on the street and taking off at 6pm in Oakland!
After such a horrible experience, I realized that we needed so much more in a move. We needed caring and trusted human being who would be sensitive to my parents moving across country; we needed efficient purging and detailed and labeled packing after seeing broken boxes, etc.
This team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us find and coordinate with a reputable moving company which, with their assistance was able to pack and move the items out of my parents apartment in record time.
Jeanne and Pat were not just organizers, they became a part of our extended family with the level of care and compassion they provided us during one of the most stressful moments in our lives.
Thank you both so much—one of the best business experiences I have ever had—truly heaven sent.

Jeanne and Pat are truly amazing, I could not recommend them more highly. They helped me design the entire storage space in my new 4,500sq ft house. The attention to detail is unsurpassed. They thought of EVERYTHING, from where I would store paper towels, to books, to pet supplies (even though I don't even have the pet yet!). They worked with the architects and cabinet makers, it really helps that Pat has an engineering degree and has incredible spacial awareness and ability to read plans. They did an incredible job decluttering my garage and organizing it all in a way that it is STILL organized (6 months later). Now they are helping me with the entire move to my new house: from purging to donations, to packing, unpacking and storing., labeling. I could not do this without them. They are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with.

I've worked with Jeanne and Pat several times and they are total professionals. In a world where home stagers have very limited options, Tailorly excels at finding design and organizational solutions that work for the specific client and their property. One of my clients, for instance, preferred to have Tailorly consult in a very limited way with the rearranging of existing furnishings. The client preferred to go out and shop for the accessories on her own. Tailorly offered suggestions along the way and helped prepare the home prior to the all important photo shoot prior to listing the home on the market. Yet another client had more need for Tailorly to redesign their furnishings and also assist in the organizing and sorting of 20+ years of personal belongings. My client raved about Jeanne and Pat's approach to help them with the design and eventual move across the country. Both listings were a complete success and simply couldn't have met the seller's price and timing goals without them. Tailorly fits a niche that is quite unique amongst my service providers to East Bay homeowners. I can't say enough about how valuable they are throughout what can be a very stressful process to home sellers with limited time and resources to get the job done.

Jeanne was so kind and helpful throughout the time that she was in our home. My wife and I are foster parents who went from having a toddler to a high needs newborn in a short amount of time. Life got hectic and we needed some help getting our home back in order. The two days that Jeanne worked on our home made a wonderful difference and got us incredibly organized. As busy parents of 3 young children, organization had been put on the back burner for years in my household. Items not currently in use, would be shoved in closets and cabinets. With old maternity clothes, toys and papers piling up, my husband and I were starting to feel like there might not be an end in sight for our constant state of clutter and disorganization. Making matters worse, my husband suffers from allergies and the dust on old papers and clutter caused him discomfort and both of us stress.
All of this changed this summer when my husband decided to take the kids on a trip by himself.....I declared that I would stay home and organize. Something I could not wait to do! We were both hopeful that the 7 days I would have to myself would be the answer to our years of disorganization...but we also knew that even with serious effort on my part, the job was still overwhelming. Where can I set up an office for myself, rather than floating my office clutter from room to room like I had been? Where should we store crafts the kids can access by themselves, now that they are getting old enough for independence with scissors, markers and glue? How should we store wedding gifts that we haven't used in 10 years of marriage?
Enter Jeanne and Pat, founders of Taylorly. They came to us by recommendation and were the perfect pair to guide me in my week-long project. I had hesitated in the past to seek the help of organizers out of embarrassment over my clutter and fear that a professional would push me into organizing in a way that wouldn't feel right to me. I'm so glad I took a chance with Jeanne and Pat, as my experience could not have been further form what I feared. It was amazing! They worked along my side that week, listening to my organizational needs, making thoughtful and creative suggestions and providing perspective that felt impossible for me to achieve on my own. They helped me part with items that I didn't love or use..hint, hint those dusty wedding gifts still sitting in boxes. Not only were Jeanne and Pat easy to work with, they made it fun! I truly enjoyed all of the time we spent together that week and I felt elated with the finished product! Their goal was to help me feel "lighter" in my own house...and I most definitely do.
