If there was such a thing as a 6 star review then Valet would deserve it. Mark Olsen, our designer, for an office built-in desk and cabinets plus garage cabinets was very pleasant to work with and I really appreciate that he never tried to upsell or give me any grief as I changed the design around. He was easy with the change orders and very gracious with his time in the showroom. The installers were A+. Nicest guys in the world. Conscientious about keeping my house and garage clean and didn't cut corners. When one of the doors wasn't closing properly they came up with a quick and smart solution to solve the issue (shave back of shelf) that was smarter than my proposed solution. A+ all around. Price was reasonable too for all this work.

Over 20 years ago I had Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets design and install closet organizers in my home and just recently I remodeled again and found myself in need of a Murphy Bed. I contacted Mark Olson and he designed a beautiful unit for my needs. He took the time to coach me through what would work best and even consulted with my builder to be sure we had the exact space we needed to contain the Murphy Bed. The Murphy Bed is both beautiful and functional and Mark and the team at Valet Customer Cabinets & Closets were amazing to work with. I highly recommend them!!

Marc Olsen came highly recommended by a friend around 7 years ago when we moved into our first home. We hired him to design and install 3 closets, and we also had a vision for the garage that to maximize storage (and minimize house clutter) and to create a welcoming space for the messy projects that are part of the elementary school years. At the time, we had younger children, and we wanted a place where they could do all kinds of ongoing projects with friends and get as messy as needed. Marc is an amazing listener who really HEARD what we needed and came up with designs that far exceeded our goals and expectations. He encouraged us to add a sink/cabinetry in addition to floor to ceiling storage closets and a window facing work table and additional storage space in the garage. He put thought into what kinds of items our daughter and son would be storing in their closets, and he designed them in a way that the kids could easily organize and access their belongings. He also cleverly designed that third closet so that it met daily needs of home office but also worked as an occasional guest room. That garage sink saw more science fair project clean ups, paintbrush washing, water balloon filling, dog washing than I can recount here. Perhaps more importantly, that garage became the gathering place for so many science fair teams, summer craft projects, book reports, birthday parties, lemonade stand prep, and the list goes on. Fast forward 7 years to this past winter when we moved to a new home, now with teenagers. No exaggeration - - the day after we closed, I called Marc and arranged for him to walk the new house with us to assess storage/closet needs. He intuitively understood that each space required unique designs - - the needs of grandma's home away from home guest room were very different from the teenaged daughter's closet, and this time we needed space in the garage for a drummer and a tap dancer but also space to store more boxes of memories, including all of the finance boxes related to a film production project. Again, Marc listened. He really, really listened and designed spaces that worked for us. Look, there are many competent professionals in this field, but here are the qualities that set apart Mark: 1. He listens and 2. He goes the extra mile, proactively. Because he listens and takes time to understand a client's needs before creating designs, he know that a "one size fits all approach" is ultimately not the right approach. And, therefore, he never upsells. Our current garage could have handled more storage closets but, knowing we'd be housing a drum set and 4 adult bikes and still need space for tapping, he advised against it. And boy was he right. We needed that open space more than we needed an extra closet. That is professionalism and integrity. As for going the extra mile, I share this detail: during that first walk through of the new house, Marc noticed that the master closet (which had been designed and installed by previous owner) was missing a small piece. He made an extra trip back to the house, AFTER our projects were completed, to deliver the correct sized piece that he had noticed was missing and wasn't even part of the project we'd hired him to do. It's that kind of proactive professionalism and care that sets him apart. If you need closets or storage spaces or a garage re-design, look no farther. You have found "the" guy.

Mark Olson is simply awesome. That’s about it - can’t say anymore. If you need someone who cares about functionality, design, attention to detail and understands your needs, there is no other. Mark Olson designed our master bedroom walk-in closet and dining room cabinets. Very pleased with the outcome. Few years ago he had designed the master bedroom wardrobe cabinet and a guestroom cabinet for us. We returned to Mark for the new projects since he was a pleasure to work with and trusted his ability to come up with the perfect design. The CAD program he uses included 2D and 3D drawings that showed how the cabinets would look. Installation crew was awesome. All four cabinets turned out to be high quality, functional and visually appealing. Highly recommend Mark and Valet Custom Cabinets and Closets.

I visited Valet in mid-Oct to get our bare bones closets (two large walk-ins and one reach-in) that had to be pulled out due to the whole house flooring replacement for water damage. We were installing Vinyl Plank flooring (Modin - excellent product). Marina explained very clearly all the options available and she came home to take all measurements and gave us the entire design was exactly what we needed and a precise quote for our wood veneer choice (we dont like particle board). I did shop with more companies and no one could come even close to the value offered by Valet. Despite the holidays coming, I was able to get them scheduled for early December (within 5 weeks of accepting the quote). We have high ceilings (10 feet and wanted boxed top level with doors). I had my own matching handles that they added to the doors. The installation went without a hitch and their crew of two finished the job in two days. The outcome was beautiful! The pictures show it well. I hihgly recommend Valet for any closet builds. Next will be my garage, if I get to clearing the stuff :-)

I worked with Marina at Valet a year ago to design and install my walk in closet. I was so happy with the final project that when it came time to do our walk through office, I knew, without a doubt, who we wanted to work with. I am extremely happy with how both projects turned out. From start to finish, Valet has exceeded my expectations.

I LOVED working with Valet. I used them to install library and garage cabinets, and they made the job an easy, efficient, and high-quality project from start to finish. Of all the companies I've used in my remodel to date, Valet has been the best. They have a nice selection of product, excellent quality materials, a great design team (my designer, Marina, was fabulous) and completed installation of the project without any errors or delays. Which is rarer than it should be. Before Valet, I used a lower cost alternative for 2 of my closets, and there's no comparison. Valet was far superior. Worth every penny.

I would give six stars if I could! From start to finish my experience with Valet was excellent. Cynthia was a joy to work with and had fabulous ideas and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and understanding of all my needs. My brand new walk in closet is beautiful, functional and very well made! The installers were professional and so nice and did the best job making sure that every single detail was perfect and that we were happy. I cannot recommend Valet enough! This review is long overdue: in January and February 2019 we worked with Marina Moreno and Valet Custom Cabinets to transform our mud/laundry room and update 2 closets. The results were spectacular and we are so happy! Marina did an amazing job of taking our vision for the mud room and bringing it to life with beautiful and usable cabinets. She also updated our closets to have efficient storage. I would very highly recommend Marina and Valet Custom Cabinets.

We brought a brand new home and needed closet and media cabinet design. I called Valet Custom Cabinets & Closets and asked Mark Olson as a designer. I heard Mark Olson did great design. The new home came with 2 walk in closets, but we decided to use the bigger one for an exercise room. The smaller one we needed an optimized design in order to accommodate all of our clothes. Mark Olson was able utilize each inch of space to design the closet as functional walk in closet with a luxury look. The media cabinet design was trickier. It was next to a large linear fireplace. There were plates on the wall for wiring for a TV and speakers. Mark Olson paid careful attention to measure the location of the outlets before he started the design work.
