“We hired Tony and crew to design and execute a Post and Beam front porch using our own cherry harvested from our property. Tony chose the trees, harvested them , planed the beams , and designed and erected the most beautiful, elegant front entry we've ever seen or could have imagined. It has a simplicity that makes the most of the wood and complements the design of the house. His enthusiasm and craftmanship with the project was unparalleled in our experience.”

“Melissa designed our master bathroom renovation and oversaw the whole project from initial ideas to the completion of the project. She has an excellent eye and a beautiful aesthetic. She was able to understand what look we were going for and helped us to find affordable and tasteful fixtures, tiles, paint colors etc. The bathroom turned out beautifully and has stood the test of time both in terms of design and functionality.”

“I have worked with Frivilous Cottage Design over many years. My latest work was in the staging of my home as I was hosting my son's wedding brunch. The house really needed an update and Ms. Cashier guided me as I divested of dated items and added current decor, all with good humor and excellent taste. “Kim Hoover designed our house. During the process, she continued to turn challenges into opportunities to improve the project. Working off an existing sub-optimal foundation, she created a plan to maximize a great view, nestle the house into the landscape, and turned what would have been a dreary basement into a sun-filled room. She worked well with clients -- always listening throughout the process -- and with builders and contractors. Kim takes responsibility for her work, is on time and on budget. Her aesthetic sense is classic but imaginative. She's resourceful about new products on the market as well as time-honored techniques to make a house a showplace. In each stage of the process, Kim added value. We cannot wait to work on another project with her.”
