“I am very please with the cabinets my husband and I purchased at Merits. They are beautiful. Emily was wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. The cabinets were delivered on the date given! That alone was amazing. We've done a lot of renovations and that is not always the case. The installation team did a fabulous job. When they appliances were delivered the gentlemen putting them in could not believe how level everything was and the panels and granite fit perfect. They did not have to make any adjustments. We are really enjoying are new beautiful kitchen, Thank You Merit for making our dream come true.”

“LGB is a highly professional, customer-focused design firm. The Interior Decorator, Linda Goodwin Burnside, is a very creative, "Think Outside the Box", designer, who stays current on decorating ideas and trends. She is high energy and takes into consideration the client's goals and budget. Not only can LGB provide concepts for existing homes, but also for new construction, working with builders and Architects from initial planning to completion. LGB is unique in that they are professional experts who can not only assist with furniture, but also with paint colors, tile, lighting, cabinetry, kitchen layout, drapery, artwork, etc.. The first time I met Linda, she stated that she would, "knock my socks off", and she definitely did!”

“When we built a new house in Aiken, South Carolina, recently, we decided that a transitional interior design theme would be a better fit for its open architectural style than would the “Williamsburg Colonial” décor of our longtime home in New Jersey. We brought a smattering of our traditional tables, desks and cabinets, that would serve as eclectic accents, but were faced with a major shopping list for the new place that included beds, upholstered furniture, modern casework, lamps, window treatments, rugs, accessories and a lot of new art work. This was a tall order, moving into a small Southern town with which we were largely unfamiliar. We really didn’t know where to begin to look, and pictured ourselves traipsing far and wide in search of all the pieces we needed Fortunately, while touring a showcase festival of several spec homes at Woodside Plantation the year before we began construction, we met Sue Shannon, co-owner of Nandina in downtown Aiken. She and her team had been recruited by the builders to stage several of the homes on tour. We loved the updated and vibrant designs that we saw that day and spoke with Sue about Nandina’s approach to blending the old with the new to create an entirely different feel in our new home. When we met with Sue later that week at the shop, we were immediately taken with the diverse and beautiful lines of furniture and accessories available through Nandina, as well as her common sense approach to putting together a lovely design that fit our needs. The more we learned about their products and services, the more we realized we had found a true one-source partner. Sue and her associate, Aimee Rusch, worked with us tirelessly over several more visits as well as long distance (emails, texts, pictures, color palettes) during the next ten months to create the feel that we wanted. Their advice opened up a world of possibilities for us that we had not imagined at the start of the project. They were quickly able to relate to our traditional tastes while injecting a much needed dose of transitional flair into our design. Thanks to Sue and Aimee’s expertise, and the resources they had available, we were able to decide on a full complement of furniture, fabrics, lamps, accessories, rugs, and window treatments (all of which were conveniently stored in Nandina’s warehouse as they came in), and have it all available when our house was ready. We found the selections in all areas to be extensive and of high quality at very competitive pricing – particularly considering that the invaluable advice that these talented ladies provided us all along the way didn’t cost a thing! When move-in day finally arrived, the entire Nandina team delivered and installed everything with great TLC and amazing attention to detail. They worked from dawn to dusk for two days arranging our new furnishings and integrating them beautifully with the treasured pieces we brought with us, right down to hanging our old and new artwork. (Many thanks here also to Brian – Nandina’s chief installer/technician – who has continued to bless us with his handiwork in the weeks since the original install). We kidded that it all reminded us of the ultimate “reality show makeover”, but it truly surpassed that. We love the interior of our new home and feel that the choices we made, with Nandina's expertise, patience and moral support are perfect for our new lifestyle. Thanks, Sue and Aimee – we could never have accomplished it all without you, and you made it fun every step of the way.”

“Two years ago we purchased a lot on Lake Murray with the plan to build what would ultimately be our retirement home. Tina was with us every step of the way from the very early planning stages until the house was completed. Together we met with the architect, builder, and subcontractors. She guided us through the process of choosing all exterior products as well as lighting, cabinetry, granite, marble, stone, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardwood floors, carpet, paint colors, and more. We can honestly say we would have been totally lost without Tina’s expert guidance throughout the building process! We absolutely love our new home and have Tina to thank for doing an amazing job of combining classic styles and current trends with colors, textures, and products that also reflect our personal style. She is very detail oriented and committed to seeing a project through to the end. She has many industry contacts to draw from and was sensitive to our time and budget constraints. We are continuing to work with Tina to select furniture, area rugs, artwork, and accessories for our new home and have found her design work to be classic and unique. We highly recommend Tina Grimes for any of your decorating needs. Cindy and Mark Smith”

“I came across Steven Ford Interiors on Houzz and even though they are in the Carolina's and I was in Pennsylvania I chose to take the plunge and hire them. I worked with Olivia and cannot speak highly enough of her. She was very responsive and attentive to my requests and quick to send me pictures of what we were discussing. When the pillows I ordered came with a slight defect, she quickly had the one shipped back to her and turned it around promptly, no questions asked. I also had an issue with a chest I ordered and within a day she made everything perfect. Their customer service is top notch and I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future for another project. Job well done!”
