Accent Countertops

We are so pleased with the awesome install that Tanner and Antonio did for our home. They took such great care and are masters of perfection! We are so grateful!

Horrible experience with this company and Abbott Plumbing their parent company. We purchased the installation of a countertop and sink. When installers were finished we noticed a significant chip out of the sink. It took weeks to contact this company to get a replacement. During the reinstallation of the sink, Abbott Plumbing was contracted to ensure the sink was hooked up correctly. Unfortunately, the plumbers did not tighten all connections and we now have water damage in our walls and carpet. They refuse to answer emails or phone calls. Do not use this company through Home Depot to do any kitchen remodeling.

I'm going through the absolute worst experience with this company. They initially fractured the granite I purchased and reordered another slab. They arrived to install the second one months later on my fireplace, during this attempt, they again broke a section of it and never came back. I asked them repeatedly to return, they said no, their contract was with my GC, not me. I'm left with an unfinished project, an inspection FAILURE from the city, and now a pending court case. Do not use this company unless you too enjoy utter frustration and shoddy craftsmanship.

This company has horrible customer service. I used this company through Home Depot Remodel Kitchen. Accent would never return a phone call, left messages and no call back. One person told me I didn't have to remove the gas stove only to have the installers come and say they can't do the job with the gas stove in place. Installers left. Returned another day only to do the counters and no backsplash. Finally had date and time set for backsplash but they were a NO SHOW. Had to call and looks like they didn't even schedule me because they brought in another installer to do the job that afternoon. A whole wasted day waiting for these people. The backsplash installers were going to leave the project without replacing the outlet covers until I made a fuss about an incomplete job. Save yourself from this company. If there was a minus star I would give them that.

I would ABOSLUTELY NEVER use Accent Countertops again. I have never left a review about any company before, but my experience was so bad, I wanted to warn others. I bought a new countertop through Home Depot who works with Accent Countertops. They removed our old sink and counter and installed a new one. When they came to install the countertop, they were in a big hurry. They carelessly removed the countertop and installed the new one as fast they could. With any type of construction dings and marks are expected. They left a huge dent in the wall (about two inches in diameter), a big scrape against the wall, and other dings. After three phone calls, and an email, I finally had someone from Accent Countertops talk to me. They told me that it wasn't their responsibility to fix the wall, and that wall damage is expected during installation. I asked him to send someone to repair the wall or compensate us for the damage done to the wall. He refused. I told him I would be leaving a review so future customers wouldn't have to go through what we have. He sarcastically responded, "Oh please do". Poor customer service, careless installation, lack of professionalism, and damage to your house is what to expect while working with Accent Countertops.

NEW Absolute worst company I have ever dealt with during a home remodel experience. We decided to use Accent for our bathroom remodels because we loved the fact you could see the available remnant pieces online and they had a large selection. That is the only good thing I have to say about this company. We worked with Ashley and decided on the remnants we wanted and also let her know we wanted not only to use the remnants for our counters, but also our windowsills. After the initial meeting, she was never available to speak on the phone, she always responded with a text saying she was "in meetings" or "on a project". I spoke with two different people in the company (one in the scheduling department and one the actual templater) and let them know our windows would be replaced after we were scheduled to have our counters installed and confirmed this would be fine. They both said we would have to pay an additional trip fee to have them template for the windowsills once the new windows were in which we agreed with. I once again tried to call Ashley once the counters were installed to let her know that our new windows were supposed to be in the following week and she responded to my voicemail with a text saying they made a mistake on their end and accidentally cancelled the windowsills and did not keep any of the material to do our windowsills- which we had already paid for. She did nothing to try and make their mistake right except say we would have to wait for more remnant to come in that were our colors (if they did ever come in) or we would have to use another color. After a month and our colors still hadn't come in, I asked Ashley what other options we had and she said she would talk to the owners, which in my opinion should have happened the second the mistake was made. I never heard back from her and finally asked for a refund, which to my surprised, they did. This company has terrible communication and does not value their "remnant program" customers. The installers also damaged several of our walls. I would advise to use ANY other counter company.

Horrible horrible horrible. The installers were verbally abusive to me while I was pregnant and walked off job because I saw a huge gap between the cabinets and countertop (I guess Mario usually gets away with gaslighting customers?). Took NINE attempts to install the countertops and still never finished the job. The fabricators were intentionally cutting the slabs the wrong size so they could charge the subcontractors installing it for any problems. Multiple installers told me accent was charging them $5000 bc they failed to cut the countertop correctly on site with a hand saw (which the installers should never have had to do). They also glued down cracked and damaged countertops to my cabinets so some of the installers refused to even try to fix it bc they didn’t want accent to charge them. Twice installers left unsecured slabs on my floor resting up against a folding table (yes, like LEFT them like that and went home putting us at risk for injury and our pets at risk of being crushed to death). Because it took NINE attempts, they were throwing the slabs on the back of the truck repeatedly to try and recut them. The countertops were marble and badly scratched. The installers told me the scratches could only be fixed by completely refinishing the slab because they were so deep (hard to do after installed) and company never addressed it. Installers also told me the cracked slab they glued down would have to be replaced if it started spreading (so I just throw out $15k worth of countertops???). Told the manager about this and she couldn’t care less and was in no hurry to complete the job even after 6 attempts. Two seams are already coming apart and new cracks are forming and they haven’t even been in 6 months. On top of that they are now trying to sue me for not paying for the rest of the job they never finished (didn’t bother caulking or sealing or fixing any of the 5 million scratches and cracks). Over the 9 attempts it took them almost 6 months to just get countertops in (the whole time I was pregnant without a functional kitchen). On top of all this, they left huge messes and kept leaving doors open so our pets could get out (even when they weren’t carrying anything in and I asked them to please keep the doors closed). They tried to offer a 10% discount for the nightmare, but what good is that if the whole job needs to be ripped out, redone, and they damaged your floors and cabinets in the process? Just unbelievably unprofessional. Do not trust this company. They treat their subcontractors and customers like garbage.

I had my countertop done by Accent. Was the worst experience ever. I called Debbie about my counter tops, that I have not had for a year. That they have two chips. All she said to me its a rock. This was memorial weekend and told me she would call me the Tuesday after the weekend. To have someone come and look at the countertop, I'm still waiting for that call. I would never recommend this ACCENT to anyone. Peggy Hadley

Starting with the template to insulation the gentlemen were outstanding. Very cautious, clean & polite. They were exemplary with their work. We would recommend the crew from StoneCare highly.

Very happy with results on this upgraded custom installation. Installed in a timely manner. Easy to work with. Would use again.

We are satisfied with the balance of this work at this time. The countertops turned out great. Thank you. Thank you.

Very quick, great customer service and options available, prompt visits and install. Used digital stylus equipment to get a very accurate template measurement. Countertop looks great. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks!
