Outstanding work! Came in on short notice and were able to troubleshoot a small but tricky install and get it done quickly and perfectly. Even managed to seamlessly transition from the vertical wall to the portion on the floor (see photo) which I didn't even think was possible. Nice, super clean and super professional!

We wanted to submit an EXCELLENT review of Artistic Stone Design and in particular the tile installer, Joseph we found the tile job done for our shower to have been an amazing and beautiful job, exactly what we had hoped for. Additionally , the installer was neat - he put down protective paper on our stairs, drop cloths on carpeting, and again, protective paper in the bathroom space. Also, the job was completed in a timely manner, as quoted. After completing the job he left all areas clean and free of any debris. Outside, where the tile cutting tools were used, he left that area tidy and cleaned up. Finally, when the tile job was done, we found it was fully completed to our specifications - leaving us happy with the finished product. Given this, we would gladly refer them to family, friends, or neighbors.

I hired ASD to install tile and quartz throughout my bathroom and kitchen area, and was extremely impressed by the quality of their work. The installer on site was incredibly thorough and precise, with an impeccable eye for detail. I learned that he's been tiling for 17 years and it shows! The whole team at ASD was very collaborative and in sync, promptly coordinating every detail with me throughout the project. I would work with them again in a heartbeat -- highly recommend!

After having a general contractor working on my kitchen remodel for months with disappointing results, I wanted to get a firm that really knew what they were doing to install the tile for my kitchen backsplash ... but I was worried that the job was too small. After exploring online sources, I found Artistic Stone Design and was dazzled by the images and the glowing reviews. I made the call and talked to Kayla, who did not seem worried about the scope of my work. I sent the specs of my job — length and width of the area to be tiled along with pictures of the kitchen walls — and got an estimate of the job almost immediately. Since it was a reasonable bid, I accepted. Once we determined when my tile was to be delivered, I was immediately put on ASD's schedule. From request for bid to install in a little over a week. On Monday morning, ASD's employee Slavic arrived and we walked through the project. I pointed out the one challenge that seemed most tricky — under-cabinet lighting that was installed pretty close to the wall — but Slavic said it would be OK. We looked at the tile and he guided me to picking the best color of grout for the job. I would have gone with something that was too gray so I was grateful for his expert assistance. Slavic got to work unpacking the tile, prepping the area including covering my new countertops and appliances and putting tarps down to protect my new flooring. He set up his saw in the garage and began his work. He was able to set all of the tile on Day 1. He cleaned up the kitchen and said he would return in the morning to grout the job. On Day 2, Slavic grouted the tile, wiped off the excess, then found spots that needed a touchup and made them perfect. Before he left, he cleaned all of the tile and the whole kitchen (including the range hood) so that it sparkled. He made sure the under-cabinet lighting was working, cleaned up the garage and was on his way. After all of the drama and chaos of working with my general contractor for three months, working with ASD was a welcome bright spot in my kitchen remodel. I have more work for them to do once I turn a bedroom into a primary bathroom and have a midcentury fireplace designed and built, I'm thinking now I'll have ASD tile the front of my 9-foot island. I can't wait to work with them again.

I had my master bathroom shower retiled. Artistic Stone Design did a fabulous job and it looks so wonderful. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for tile work. They’re fast efficient and very friendly.

I have used Artistic Stone Design for previous projects and they were amazing. I then followed a contractors advice to use their subs on my kitchen remodel. Bad decision! I asked Alex to have Dave come out and look at the terrible install of my marble to see if anything could be done. Unfortunately it required a complete re-do of the kitchen counters. From Marina and Kayla in the office/design center to the on-site installers, the crew are all professional. They listen and work hard to make sure you are happy with the results. You can't go wrong with this company.

ASD is an outstanding contractor and I would recommend them without reservation. Working with Marina on the front end of the project and then with Alex during the actual construction has been wonderful. The project they did for me was converting a bathtub to a shower and then refacing a floor to ceiling fireplace surround. This work was in condo with the associated rules and regulations and ASD worked well without any hiccups. And to further add to the complexity of the project, this is a second home for me so I was not in the area much prior to or even during the actual construction. Marina and Alex never dropped the ball on anything and the original estimated start and finish dates were pretty spot on. And lastly I have to give a shout out to their great crafts people. They are truly artists and take great pride in their work so the finished product is perfection. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Thanks Marina and Alex!

We were very impressed with the ease with which we were able to remodel three bathrooms with the Artistic Stone Design team! Not only did ASD install beautiful tile and countertops in our 3 bathrooms, but they helped to coordinate the plumber and shower glass subcontractors, too. They stuck to budget and completed in a very timely manner. We liked them so much that they are actually installing a stone desktop in our living room today! Highly recommend!

Artistic Stone Design was called after I had a contractor install our backsplash. The original job was subpar. I called ASD and got an appointment for installation within a week. They showed up when they said they would, took care to cover everything, and did an excellent job. It now looks wonderful.

ASD was with us through the journey of our massive renovation project, tiling 3 full bathrooms as well as the kitchen backsplash and huge fireplace surround. Alex and Marina are so incredibly responsive they must never sleep! The work done was impeccable and I did not need a designer as Alex and Slavik had such wonderful ideas I was thrilled with their suggestions.

I have hated my kitchen ever since we moved in and finally decided to tackle a remodel this year. Artistic Stone Design did the tile in a bathroom remodel a few years ago and we loved their work, so we returned to them for this project. They weren't the cheapest bid we received, but the bid was competitive and seemed fair. We decided to go with Artistic Stone because of how happy we were with our last job. I am so happy we did because Marina has been so helpful throughout this entire process. She was always available to answer my (many many!) questions and help me pick out the right type of quartz countertops and tile. She was also flexible and helpful when we hit some major snags with our cabinet order which affected the counter and tile install. We had to reschedule several times because of problems with cabinets arriving damaged, but it was never an issue. The installers were very knowledgeable, professional and efficient. We are thrilled with our kitchen and so pleased we chose Artistic Stone Design.

Marina and Alex were great to work with. We remodeled 2 bathrooms and ASD tiled the floors, showers and installed a quartz and a granite counter. All of their employees were very professional and conscientious about their work. We are planning on a new kitchen next year and will definitely use them again. They were also our lowest bid.

We had a great experience working with Artistic Stone Design during our kitchen remodel and fireplace hearth replacement. Alex helped us find the perfect quartz pieces for our new countertops that fit our new layout and aesthetic. His team measured our space and installed the quartz without and delays or errors. Once we were ready to remodel our upstairs fireplace, we knew that ASD was the best source for our granite hearth and are thrilled with the outcome. We had a lot of other worries and compromises during our home remodels, but ASD was an outlier of professionalism and quality. We will continue to recommend ASD to friends and use them for any future projects.

These guys did an amazing job with my granite counter tops. I knew where the seam was and yet I had a lot of trouble finding it!! They are very gifted professionals! I will use them again.

ASD is the whole package! They are such a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend them! My wife and I wanted new counter tops in the kitchen and downstairs bathroom, and we wanted to replace an older tile back splash in the kitchen, but we had no idea where to start. ASD walked us through the entire process and literally held our hands the whole way. They originally came out and gave us a quote on the quartz slab and labor to install, as well as labor to demo and install a new tile back splash. We did make some modifications here and there (including picking a completely different quartz slab the day before our original selection was delivered) before settling on a final quote. I think it's important to say that what we PAID was exactly what was quoted. They did not go over budget. We ended up purchasing a full quartz slab for the kitchen counters, a remnant for the bathroom, and a remnant for the garden window sill, all from ASD. We did purchase marble back splash tile separately. ASD did the demo and then installed all of it and it came out beautiful! The fabrication was perfect, the counter seam is almost invisible, and the tile work looks finished and professionally done. They cleaned up after themselves each day and came back upon request to touch up a few minor imperfections in the polish of the quartz. We love our new kitchen and how perfect everything looks. Renovating a kitchen can be extremely stressful, but Alex, Marina and the entire crew at Artistic Stone Design made the process a pleasure. They communicated effectively the entire time and offered additional services and considerations that were very much appreciated. We have renovated other kitchens in the past and were never so impressed. We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend Artistic Stone Design, Inc. to anyone. We had Artistic Stone Design replace our kitchen tile counter top and backsplash with granite and new tile backsplash two years ago with great success. We followed that remodel this year with a master bathroom update replacing all of the tiled floor and vanity counter top including a fiberglass shower with all new large format tile and quartz counter top. Again, Artistic Stone Design provided services that were on time and budget while maintaining the quality of workmanship that we had experienced with our kitchen remodel. We are planning yet another update to our laundry room next year and plan to use Artistic Stone Design as our first choice with full confidence in their ability to execute the work ahead. We can't say enough about this company. In a time where contractors really don't seem to care about their clients, Artistic Stone Design truly shines. Marina's level of communication is beyond amazing...I don't think she ever stops working. The thoroughness of Alex is fantastic and the team that did the counters and then the team that did the tile...great all around. Not only was their quality good, but they were just good people. They communicated well and also kept me informed on the next steps. We have had some poor experiences with contractors before and have had some contractors come back out 4 or 5 times to correct their work. With Artistic Stone Design, we have had zero issues and have not needed them to come back out even once. We used ASD for two projects. The first (several years ago) was for a granite fireplace mantle and facia. The second, and recent, project was for a granite kitchen countertop. We selected ASD to do the recent project because of the excellent work they did on the fireplace. Alex and Marina made sure both projects were completed on-time and in a very professional manner. I did this monster kitchen and bath remodel project with a 6' x 13' island, and I hired ASD to do the honor. They did not disappoint. Marina was a model for what all customer service should be (patient, efficient, and responsive), and the design, templating, and installation crew (I apologize for not remembering all their names) was a model for precision and the pursuit of perfection (it wouldn't be human to achieve perfection, right?)

We are upgrading our 90’s bathrooms one piece at a time and ASD did quartz double sink counter tops in both. Alex and Marina provided outstanding customer service throughout the entire process. Even searching for a slab on a Saturday, Marina was quick to respond. When we discovered one of our sinks in pieces the day before install, they were so understanding and will come back to install that last sink when it arrives, no problem. Even small remodeling projects can be stressful. Alex and Marina make you feel like you’re their only customer no matter how busy they are. That and outstanding quality of work is a definite win.

Everything went PERFECT! Artistic Stone is such a rare gem. We have renovated more than a dozen bathrooms over the years. The upstairs bathroom was in the worst condition of any. We obtained several bids, some from previous contractors we have hired for other jobs. We had a contractor picked out but for some reason I decided to get one more bid. The reason had nothing to do with the dollar amount of the bids, it had to do with all the stresses of the complicated renovation (while living in the home) I found Artistic Stone on Angies list, I called and spoke with Marina. She was wonderful and set an appointment for Alex to come by and offer a bid. I knew as soon as Alex left this was the company we would hire. The company worked with us since we were renovating both bathrooms at the same time, they didnt leave us without a wash room. Alex offered options and design ideas and each and every one of the staff arrived on time, worked a full day, was pleasant, professional yet personable. The quality of their work is unbeatable. We are now in the process of finishing the basement. There is no question we look forward to working with Artistic Stone in the coming months.

We first contacted Marina after trying to work with a few other businesses. The other companies were very slow in responding and it was appearing as if we were not going to have a kitchen countertop anytime too quickly. Marina was helpful, professional and quick to respond to our questions. She secured the stone we wanted for a kitchen countertop project even though she was told it may not be available. The countertop is beautiful and they made the seam seamless. We did not have a large job, but we were treated promptly and with respect.

ASD replaced 1980's countertops and backsplash in my small kitchen. The results are amazing! From demo to install, the team was professional, detailed and a pleasure to have in my home. The follow up by office manager, Marina, rivals ANY experience I have had previously. She is thorough, provides answers to any and all questions - with darn near immediate response. The owner, Alex, has a great "eye" (and recommendations) but is considerate of the homeowners' wishes. This company does jobs for multi-million dollar homes - but I never felt anything but that I was their MOST important client. Smooth process w/beautiful results. What more could anyone ask for? Fabricated new quartz countertop for new kitchen cooktop island. The design of the island cabinet required two unique angle cuts. Fantastic. The quote was prompt and competitive. The countertop was ready when promised. I had a number of questions along the way and response was almost immediate by phone and email. They arrived for the template design as promised and for installation even after I had to change the delivery date and time twice due to some cabinet maker issues. Everyone start to finish was polite and professional.

Alex did a kitchen remodel last year. His workers were on time, polite and neat and the work was done in the time promised. All these aspects of work were very important to me, as well of course, the quality of work which was outstanding. His communications were timely and frequent and I was advised of the progress of the project. I've previously built a house and was frustrated and disappointed by the constant delays and excuses and consequently leary of any renovation. Helped in choosing, and installed kitchen backsplash in a minor kitchen remodel. After using Artistic Stone Design in 2012 for my granite fabrication and installation, I did not interview or get bids for the installation of the backsplash. I knew all along I would hire Alex & team to do the work. This is how please and confident I was in his abilities. It took me close to 4 years to finally settle on a tile for this project (long story) but with each possible choice along the way, I was in communication with Alex & Marina, who were quick to respond and extremely helpful with suggestions and ideas. They both were extremely patient too. He met me at tile stores, swapped emails and texts, exchanged pictures. He earned our business not only by the quality work but by the customer service he showed throughout the long process of choosing tile. Once I confirmed the tile selection, I was put on his books (he was busy, so it took about 6 weeks in the "off season" to get my date) Installation finished up yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. I compromised a bit on my tile since we may be listing out home for sale, so I wanted something I would be happy with if we stayed but not over invest f we were to move. I also wanted to keep the style neutral to appeal to the masses but not boring. My countertops are the star of the show anyway! When the tiles arrived slightly whiter than I expected, Alex suggested to darken the grout to tie everything together a little better, I was hesitant at first as I had a preconceived idea how this might turn out, but in the end I trusted his experience and was so glad I did. It made everything blend perfectly, and while so simple, the clean, finished look of the perfectly installed tiles make such a difference in the overall look and feel of the kitchen. I can't stop looking at it. Not sure I want to sell my house any more!

I was referred to Artistic Stone Design by a friend who is a designer. The overall experience was great! They pride themselves in customer service. I ordered new Quartz countertops for installation. Cheryl was a joy to deal with. The ordering process was smooth and the turn around time from order confirmation to delivery was unbelievable!. The installers removed my old countertops and installed the new ones. The installers were professional, on time and left my kitchen in perfect order! I can't say enough about this company. I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their kitchen.

We had Artistic create and install granite counter tops in kitchen and bathroom! they are amazing! they were wonderful in helping us pick out what we wanted and very professional when they did the templating and the installation was on time and exact! We couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Alex and his team at Artistic Stone Design are true artisans. We hired ASD to do a granite tub surround, granite bath countertop and tile work in a bathroom remodel. The work is absolutely beautiful. Alex did mitered corners in the bathtub surround to create a fluid line as well as around a very intricate shampoo/soap niche. The countertop edge is very rich and luxurious looking.
