We had our old kitchen countertops with tiles replaced by Quartz countertops. The outcome is wonderful! We are really satisfied. The President of the company Luis was professional, helpful, and patient. The work George and the others did was meticulous and and efficient. I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to change only the countertops and not the cabinet. But it sure worked. They did an excellent job! It's like the whole kitchen was renovated. We highly recommend Central Coast Countertops.

We are very happy with Luis and his work. He installed a granite facing for our new fireplace and hearth and was very easy to work with throughout the overall process. He accommodated our needs, such as picking up the stone, taking the time to talk to us about the adhesive he planned to use, our overall design, and provided us with some thoughtful and useful recommendations. I can’t say enough good things about Luis. When I contacted him I was faced with a significant project with no personal experience. The first contractor left me more confused than before I talked to him but after contacting Luis he made the process simple to understand. His bid was lower than others that I had talked to. He acted as a resource for each step of the way This inspired confidence in all the decisions that I made as to choice of material, design and of course of course highly professional work. In addition to him being a critical resource his staff were friendly and very considerate of the disruption that this type of project causes in a household. They were constantly cleaning as they worked to minimize the impact. Luis was in constant communication throughout the project to answer questions and provide input. He turned a stressful project into an exciting adventure. The finished work was spectacular. I highly recommend Luis and his crew!!!!

For any remodeling, it’s nerve-wracking because I never know if I can trust the person. I much prefer to hire someone who is decent than someone who can do it faster or cheaper. I already had good feelings about Luis just with text exchanges, so when he came and agreed to take on our job, we were relieved. When we replaced kitchen cabinets, we were told that we would need to replace the countertop too by several people. We liked our old black granite countertop and we wanted to keep it. We were told “It’s not possible.” “They won’t be able to remove it without cracking it.” “That’s not how it’s done.” In search of finding someone who can remove it and reinstall it, I was ready to call many numbers. Of course, I called the highest rated place on Yelp, Central Coast Countertops. Thank goodness, Luis responded right away. He came out to our house to see if it is possible before he agreed to take the job. Luis said I was only the third person to ask to save the countertop in his 35 years of business! He said he is 99% certain that this will work out. I didn’t need to call anyone else. When Luis came, I mistakenly thought he worked alone, that this project might take some time. Silly me! He brought a crew of 4-5 people both for removal and installation, and they worked so fast and efficiently. It was such a nice surprise. Modifications were done to match the size difference of the new counter space. His modifications were cleverly done, so precise, and matched the original perfectly. We were in awe. Luis and his team are such good people, and we were so happy with the result, I had to have a picture taken with everyone before they left. No wonder Luis is rated number one! Thank you so much for doing such a beautiful work for us!

Luis and his crew are amazing. We moved in to our new home 2 weeks before Christmas and after meeting with multiple contractors, we trusted Central Coast to get our project done right and somehow before Christmas. They demo’d our existing kitchen countertops and installed quartz counters and glass tile backsplash, all while working around our paint and cabinet contractors. We would 100% use them again.

Very fast and professional work. I chipped my granite countertop and Luis came to look at it. He fixed it right then! I can't even see or feel where the chip was. He even fixed some smaller chips I didn't know I had!

I had a vision for transforming our ugly duckling fireplace hearth, plus I had a large slab of marble. Luis and his team at Central Coast Countertops helped me bring this vision into fruition. I explained what I was hoping for and with his important professional suggestions we tweaked the solution to perfection. They carried the ball home in two installations because simultaneously we had another craftsman doing fine cabinetry work on either side of the fireplace and the hearth needed to be completed at the very end. The result was a stunning harmonization of stone and wood. CCC is highly professional, caring, very friendly, and responsive. Luis listens to you and works with your vision so that you are a happy client in the end. His workers are accurate, meticulous, and good craftsman. These are the folks you want to have your in-home stone work done by, hands down. Since then we also hired him for another small stone job having to do with new countertops for our nightstands. They jumped from bland to gorgeous and can now take putting a glass down without worrying about the rings. We have no more stone jobs for this house but I almost wish we did because I trust this company to do it right. The transformations make your heart sing.

We had Luis replace our 1970s formica with white composite quartz. He came to see the job on a Saturday, and understood both our goals and our budget. We were upgrading a rental and wanted it done before the new tenants moved in - and he was able to have the job done two weeks faster than I expected. His team is neat and respectful of your property. He does not reinstall the plumbing and fixtures, but can recommend someone if you do not want to DIY. His fabrication space is in an old mushroom farm in Watsonville, so he does not have a fancy showroom. He can direct you to the regional supply places in San Jose, if you are not sure what stone you are looking for. We knew we wanted all white engeneered quartz, and he had it readily available. Luis was professional - on time, on budget, readily available. His crew was respectful of our property. I will use him again when we tackle the bathrooms.

Luis was easy to deal with, and patiently answered all of my questions from start to finish. It was a pleasure to work with Luis, and my wife and I are thrilled with the improvements Luis made to our kitchen! Luis quickly responded to my initial inquiry, and I had a bid less than 24 hours later. All my follow up questions were answered in a timely and professional manner. After my wife and I picked out the quartz slabs at Dal Tile, Luis had the slabs delivered to his shop so he was ready to start fabrication. Luis called a couple weeks later and said he would be at our house the next day at 8 AM to start the job. Luis showed up the next day promptly on time. Luis started with demolition work and modifying our center island to convert it from two-tier down to a single level. He also set a new cast iron sink and prepared the countertop surfaces and backsplashes for installation of the quart slabs. Luis was done with the demo work and construction in two days. and made templates so he could use them to fabricate the countertops and backsplashes in his shop. Less than a week later, Luis had the countertops done and was ready to install them. Just one day after the countertops were installed, Luis finished the solid slab backsplashes (including cutouts for wall outlets). His measurements were spot on and there was very little gap around the counter and cabinets. His joins were perfect so the connection was in an inconspicuous spot and the slab looked like a continuation with the patterns lining up. Luis' attention to detail was impressive. From start to finish, between demolition, modifying the center island, fabricating the countertops and backsplashes, and installation, the job was done in 9 days. Luis and his crew are professional and courteous, and clean up after themselves each day. I am very picky, and Luis exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Luis and I am glad I gave him the opportunity to transform our kitchen into a space we can be proud of.
