About Us

Mission Tile West is a family owned tile business that has grown from humble beginnings in 1984 to become one of the leading companies in the tile industry today. John and Dina Adamson and their son Thano began the company selling handmade Mexican tile created by Thano’s Uncle Tony. The company continued to grow and added Thano’s sister Tisa as a creative designer in 1997. Today, Mission Tile West owns two different tile factories, three showcase locations, and represents more than 200 manufacturers. Whether you are looking for stone, terra cotta, glass, or unique ceramics, we have it all in one of our three locations. We offer many styles from our different manufacturers as well as a number of styles and designs that have been developed in-house. Our customer service representatives are very knowledgeable about our products and can help you select the right tile for your specific needs. Oxbow & Olin Design Studio

Mission Tile West is a great showroom to work with. They have a wide variety of materials and brands, allowing you to find tile for any style/design. Dona and Andrew are wonderful to work with. They are both so knowledgable on the different materials, manufacturers and design in general. If you are looking for a tile store for your next remodel, you have to check them out.

I have worked with Mission Tile West Showrooms photographing several of their completed projects. They are wonderful to work with from my end - very detail oriented, extreme care with the space and how it's photographed and very concerned that the final product represents the best of the space. I've also seen the relationships that they have established with the clients who own these homes, and there couldn't be a more mutual admiration between the parties. As a designer located in Costa Mesa it was so exciting to get such a fantastic tile and stone showroom so close by! Their selection is amazing and rep nearly every tile line you could need. They have everything from modern to Spanish to French, glass, ceramic... the list goes on. I started working with Dona during one of my most recent visits to the showroom and she has been nothing but helpful and extremely kind. She is knowledgeable about all of their material and very responsive whenever I need information, pricing, or a follow up on an order.

Mission Tile West has been my go to place for tile for years...maybe almost two decades now. The staff really knows their products, and consultations are always an efficient use of time. They offer a complete range from custom tile produced by hand, to standard ready to go tile from the larger manufacturers, so no matter on the time limits, or budgets my clients may have, I can find what I need there. My clients love going to their showroom, where we receive casual, yet very professional service.

Artistic Tile

Mission Tile’s newest location, this store has a great layout from start to finish. Mission Tile’s wide selection of handmade ceramic and specialty stone lives at the front of the store; glass and porcelain have a space of their own at the rear. The sales staff if very welcoming and willing to help design, with samples or a quick sketch. Either way, they have a great selection to choose from.

Lulu Designs

Such a great place to go and pick everything tile... A great selection with amazing service and expertise. So glad I don't have to make the drive to LA anymore now that they are here. The showroom is all inclusive of most vendors with a wide variety of styles. I would recommend this showroom as a place to see a multitude of tiles installed. This is a great showroom and I'm so glad they are here locally!
