Sorry to hear that you had a negative experience but we have completed all that we "promised" in full and actually did some work that is out of the ordinary such as grinding grooves under the slab etc which is not common stone fabrication requests. We also did NOT charge for the piece that we had to cut again so whether that stone goes to trash or not does not make a difference on your end.
As for your island, I have met with your husband - he has asked us to match the "faint" lines in a "natural" product COMPLETELY. We have been fabricating counters for many years and we do NOT make promises on things that can not be done. That is why we decided not to do the island.
