We enjoyed the time we spent in the showroom looking at the choices. There were so many options, but we picked a white quartz top. The appointment for the template didn’t take long, then the install was only a week later. The guys were great! Just some clean up for us after they left, but it wasn’t too hard getting all the residue off the countertop off. Cleaned with soap and water. We did find one problem with the joint at the edge of counter. When I called they said they will send someone out to fix it. So all is good. We love our countertop

We recently had granite installed by Stonex out of the Woodstock showroom. After installation, there was a seam we were unhappy with. They quickly came out and fixed to our satisfaction. Overall, we were very happy with the whole experience from beginning to end and would recommend them.

Had the kitchen countertops done in Quartz last April/May and I am still thrilled about the quality, service, installation and the general good feeling I had with whomever I had to deal with. Had my kitchen renovated, and was looking to have some quartz counter top installed. The pattern I was interested in was very expensive at the first store I saw it. I decided to check out various quartz company for the pattern I like, but the prices for it was outrageous My son referred me to Stonex factory outlet. I went there, their sales Rep, took me to the back where the counter top was stored. Huge selection. It took me 5 minutes to find the pattern I liked, and most of all the price was unbelievable. They wrote up a contract and give me a quote, also a sample of the product I ordered. I was very pleased with the outcome... Time line for agreement to contract, templating and Installations was done within weeks. My countertop has now been Installed. Services was excellent, installers were very friendly and answered all of my questions pertaining to my sink etc.. I had dealings with another company to do my Kitchen Island. I went through one of our local stores to have it installed, had lots of issues with information going through the store to the quartz company back and forth, and by the time my question reach the factory personnel , the question becomes distorted. I would highly recommend Stonex a go to for your quartz countertop Install... Excellent service. I am thoroughly enjoying my choice and installation of my countertop. Thank you

We had such a positive experience with Stonex. We were working on a kitchen renovation ourselves and wandered into the Woodstock showroom. They were so helpful and with two visits we had a slab selected and they were working on details and times for measurements and installation. They answered all of our questions and were so knowledgeable. The finished product is so beautiful and the quality of the work was so good, especially considering they were fitting them onto cabinets that weren't new. Great install team . Great product ! I always judge a business on how it responds when things get complicated. It did and the reaction of the team was good. Things were resolved quickly. Solutions were found . All ended well. Nothing ever goes exactly as planned. These guys stepped up fast and are a class act . Highly recommend this company.

Excellent company to deal with. Everything was done well, prices didn’t change. The countertop was to be installed on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, but they came on the Friday before Thanksgiving! So I was able to host our Thanksgiving meal after all! Thank you Stonex!

In today’s world where delivery commitments and customer service are often non-existent, working with the Stonex team was a dream. Very poor quality! They charged full price for a broken granite countertop. They had attempted a very shoddy repair prior to installation, but chose to send us the countertop anyway, they don’t care much for their reputation apparently. We now have a full price, second-rate countertop. This whole experience has left us with a poor taste, and very poor opinion of Stonex! Buyer beware.

Very pleased with the job that Stonex did. I was very impressed with the timeliness in getting the project completed. There are other companies that push the dates out for extended periods of time. Stonex doesn't do that. We also had an intricate cut that needed to be done on one piece of the quartz and it was done to exceed my expectations. All the personnel we dealt with from the sales person (Paige), the person doing the laser measuring (Alex) and the installation team were knowledgable and answered any of the questions that we had. Job well done and I would recommend Stonex for any of your countertop needs.

Service was quick. Installation was pretty bad to be honest. They did not tell me my island was not level before bringing it in. Had to make cuts myself. Now there’s a big gap between the counter and cupboards. Had to cut off the decorative pieces now they look awful. They left pieces of wood shins to level it out and it looks horrid. I asked them about it after and they pretty much told me it’s my issue to cover it and it’s not in their job description. The small piece they added to the longer piece of the quartz to connect it did not match and looks obvious it was a second piece. They chipped my roof when bringing in the island and the installers told me they didn’t do it. One of the installers was being rude to the other in front of me and my wife which made it awkward. After I paid and it was installed I never heard from them again asking how I liked it or if I was satisfied. The customer service in my opinion was terrible and for the money I spent I felt like more should have been done about the little imperfections and problems I had.

We had a granite counter installed a few years ago by Stonex. All sorts of issues during the installation including counter damage by them and subsequent replacement. We've had a few issues since installation, all of which Stonex wanted to charge us to fix. Rough edges/chips in underside of countertop, especially around the sink, which constantly catch/snag and put small holes in the shirt of anybody prepping on the countertop. Problems with counter sections around our slide in range. The back bridge piece has a gap in it (not sure if this has somehow separated over time or we just didn't notice it when installed). 2 sections of counter on either side of slide-in range were not cut straight back to the wall. Instead, the counter pieces were notched for a wider space at the front to exactly fit our specific model of 8-year-old range. We asked about this when we originally saw the counter pieces and were told "this is what they do". Thought nothing more of it until our range recently failed and needed replacement. No other slide-in range would fit this unrequested, custom-notched profile. Call Lucy at Stonex and were told this would cost $300+ to have the counter cut straight back from these notches (like we originally wanted). Took our business elsewhere for cutting back the counter, bought and installed a new slide-in range and have now discovered that the counter section on one side of the range is not level (drops over 1/4" from the back to the front) while the section on the other side is level. So, there is no way to make our new range simultaneously align/level with the counter on both sides. Not sure what we'll do to fix this latest issue, but we definitely won't be contacting Stonex to find out how much they want to gouge us to fix their shoddy work.

They were on time and went straight to work, they cleaned as they went and did a final clean as well as a double check at the end! Stonex has been a fantastic company to work with in picking our countertops and would highly recommend them!

The were quick, clean and professional. I was even shocked by the amazing focus on the little details. I would strongly recommend them and I would use them again on future renovations.

I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but this company deserves my time. We are doing major renovations in our home and I have dealt with several renovation companies. Stonex is by far the most professional, and well organized company that I have dealt with so far. If you are looking for high quality granite or quartz, with HIGHLY skilled planning and installation, at an AFFORDABLE price (yes, I priced compared), visit Stonex! I really wish all contractors had the same level of customer service.

Stonex installers spent quality time ensuring the measurements were correct and were very flexible with our input. We chose a small flecked quartzite and it cleans very well, no staining and very little water marks evident. We had an issue with a small seam showing, however one call to Stonex and they sent someone over immediately to correct it. We are very pleased with the transformation. The finished product is beautiful!

I am so impressed by the service I received! They helped me every step of the way always informing me of my choices and offered me excellent advice, while answering all my questions in timely a timely manner. They were very patient and knowledgeable in helping me make the right choice. In the end I chose from their wide variety of quartz and marble and I was astonished with the finished and installed product. The seams of the counter tops were virtually seamless, and the finished look was outstanding. The marble fire place was the Mona Lisa of the home. The veining of the pieces were matched to perfection. Installers were very friendly and courteous, taking their time to properly install the products, and cleaned up after themselves. In the end my experience with the sales representatives was very professional and friendly. I am very pleased that I chose Stonex to help me customize my home.

STAY AWAY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE ON BETTER CRAFTSMANSHIP! The showroom was setup nice and had friendly enough staff. Initial pricing was comparable to others in the area. When we had the granite installed, we found several issues (unresolved) that will never have us recommend or use this company again: 1. The granite had been snapped in half during the installation and epoxied back together by the installers. When we called the company the same day, they first said that granite has "natural cracks" in it. Then they said it must have been cracked by our improper use after installation (i.e. it was our fault), but had no explanation for how it mysteriously got glued back together and polished. 2. There were large sections in the granite that had been filled in with epoxy or plastic or something. It was a milky white color that was obviously not the natural granite and definitely not in the slab we selected in the showroom. Same as in point 1, we were told that granite has natural variations and they tried to convince us these obvious sections of filler were granite. 3. The seam they created where 2 sections joined was horrible with a sharp ridge sticking up. The epoxy there had to be cracked apart and the sections realigned. Initially, these people sound like they know what they're doing just like everybody else, but then they leave your house with a product of vastly inferior quality and make it sound like the shoddy work is either your fault or this is the way granite installation is supposed to happen. Finally, good luck calling and trying to get resolution to any of your issues. Their phone reps are worse than their installers. They make it sound like they understand your issue and are interested in resolving it, but then leave the homeowner hanging and/or waiting for installers/technicians who are either hours late or simply do not show up. Beware.

Awesome company to deal with. From the friendly and knowledgeable sales people to the professional and courteous installers. They have an impressive selection of granite and quartz and the prices are very reasonable. Most importantly is the quality of the final product which was delivered and installed in a timely fashion and by people who really know what they are doing. I highly recommend this company

I looked at stone at all the granite and stone vendors from Woodstock to Stoney Creek to Mississauga and in Kitchener. Stonex had the best selection and prices. I liked that they measured my kitchen with lasers for accuracy. The Woodstock location had a larger selection than MSI, a wholesaler many of the other locations use. When we were selecting our stone, they moved pieces we were comparing so they could be compared side by side. The layout was wonderful and made best use of the nicest features of the stone we chose. The installers were professional and did an excellent job. They didn't mind explaining what they were doing. Overall a very positive experience.
