Surface Art Countertops

We contacted Surface Art Countertops for a new wood countertop for our home. Steve and his team were the best to work with. We had problems with the first countertop that was not their fault. Steve worked hard to get the situation resolved. It took some time but in the end it was well worth it! The countertop is exactly what we wanted and looks great!

This is our third counter installed by Surface Art. We have been completely satisfied with all aspects of the purchase and installation. Great job!

Surface Art and their team were fabulous to work with. Claire and Erica were very nice and professional. I am the home owner / contractor. I had a lot of questions on the farm sink and its position. Marc and Mike gave invaluable recommendations on how to proceed and what would look the best overall based on counter construction. I ended up cutting my new cabinet so the sink would sit lower and glad I did since the end result is beautiful. Marc came to measure and was very professional and again answered all my questions. It was raining on the day of installation so I was nervous but their team was very careful and precise. The price was very fair for a full service shop. Would definitely use them again.

We were referred to this company by our contractor. We brought a sample of the tile we were using for our shower. Heather, the sales rep we worked with showed us a remnant they had and it was a perfect match. Next a scheduled appointment was made to measure the vanity. A template was made at the Surace Art shop and instructions were sent to me as to how to prepare the plywood, the sinks, etc. Prior to the install. When the installers came they did a wonderful job and were very neat and curtious. The crew cut the tile and matched the line in the tile on the countertop with the backsplash! We worked with Stephanie and Heather. Both were personable, professional and knowledgeable. Surface Arts has a large choice of stone brands and products as well as slabs of stone. They created two stone tops for our bathroom: a 2 sink 8’ vanity and a 3’ makeup table top. The backsplash for the vanity had to be cut to accommodate two electric outlets, holes for 2 faucets and 4 faucet handles. When they came to our install the backsplash were cut perfectly. Their bid for this job was competitive, and they good following up on any of our questions or open issues. I would use them again.

This is my second project with Surface Art, previously for my own home, and now for a rental cottage. All communications and scheduling was accurate and professional. This recent countertop was Pental quartz in all white, and they actually made the corner seam completely invisible, which was quite unbelievable. The did a lovely raised bar counter with custom radius corners, too. Surface Art is the highest quality of contractor you can find.

Thanks to Surface Art Countertops, Inc. ("SA”) for one of the best kitchen countertop replacement experiences my husband and I ever have had; this wasn't our "first rodeo" on the kitchen remodel front, so we know whereof we speak. SA's estimate for the project was highly competitive and the contract process was smooth and painless. Once we were ready to roll, SA went out of its way to locate just the right granite slabs for our color palette and overall desired look. Jose was a true artist and absolutely brilliant when it came to designing and templating what was a rather large area and challenging countertop configuration. We appreciated the time and thought Marc and Skylar put into the layout of the templates on the slabs and, when we visited SA to go over the proposed layout, we were impressed with how skillfully, artfully and efficiently the process went. The installers did a magnificent job; they were friendly, courteous, skillful and incredibly attentive to even the smallest of details. I should add that they left the job site in immaculate condition. The entire project was completed timely and within budget, despite our last minute change order to add replacement of our mudroom countertop to the contract. SA clearly is a smoothly run company and everyone there is a pleasure to work with -- all highly professional, congenial, attentive to the customer and to the quality of their work product. My photos don't quite do justice to SA’s masterful work, but they will give you a sense of its excellence!

Professional and exacting. The workmanship is excellent. I wanted Corian, other vendors either didn't do Corian or made me feel like a dinosaur for wanting such and old, out of fashion product but these guys did not judge and the outcome is gorgeous. I was not doing a backsplash at one end of the kitchen counter but neglected to tell the installer that. After he left I realized I needed that intersection caulked and called them that afternoon. The installer came by that evening on his way back to the shop to fix MY oops. They are busy - because they are that good - but they get you on their schedule as quickly as they can. They are worth the wait.

Chris, the estimator, came to my home three times during the process starting with the estimate and again to offer expert advice regarding details of the process including recommending two tile contractors for the backsplash. Chris always responded to my emails in less than 15 minutes and was readily available to me if I had a question or needed advice. The template crew and the installation crew took the utmost care with home -- it was clear that they respected my home and their attention to detail during installation was impressive. I absolutely love my new quartz countertops and will definitely use Surface Art for my next project.

From the very first, we were impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, positive customer relations, and track record of the team at Surface Art. We were especially impressed with the care with which the template measurements were made and in the exchange between the Surface Art technician and our cabinet makers who were finishing up some details on his work. My experience with Surface Art was Awesome! From the office staff, to the gentleman that came out to make the templates, to the installers, everyone was so kind and they acted like the project was their own. We just had two bathrooms remodeled and chose Surface Art to fabricate our Caesarstone vanity countertops. Every step of the way, each person I dealt with was very competent, professional and pleasant to work with (pleasant even came through in emails). The countertops are gorgeous, the installation perfect! To top it all off, there wasn't enough material to do the side splash on the second vanity, but Surface Art found matching scrap left over from another job and finished it beautifully for us! Couldn't be happier!
