“Great Architect! Imaginative as well as pragmatic. "We met Keri as we were planning a kitchen renovation, screened-in porch addition and front porch portico addition which would require a variance from the local zoning board. Keri came over to chat, get a sense of our space, our interior design style, and review our scope of needs versus wants (something very important). We could tell immediately that Keri was able to envision what we were looking for as the end result. Keri completely re-designed (what I thought was already a great design because I did it!) our kitchen space in a creative, timeless, far more efficient design than I could ever think of. Keri displayed her strong technical expertise and design sensitivity when drawing our three season porch and portico. Everything was brought to life in not only perfect scale but also considerate of the home's age and it's placement into the neighborhood landscape. Keri is very detail oriented but has a unique way of translating those details into a cohesive design that you can understand and relate to. Keri was always available for us. She was prompt, prepared, and eased our fears throughout the entire process. That's the kind of experience you want when going thru a design and construction project.”

“Joe Fournier did some great architectual design work on two large projects we did. A large remodel on one property and an almost complete rebuild on a second property. Joe acted as GC on the second job and did a wonderful job keeping things moving, helping us get good decisions made in a timely fashion and working closely with all the trades to ensure the work was coordinated and of high quality. The transformations to our properties were hugely successful and Joe was instrumental in helping us get to a place where the homes work so much better for our lifestyle. Highly recommend Joe's work (and already have several times).”

“Megan was wonderful to work with. My project involved working with an older structure with a lot of constraints. Megan took the time to understand my needs, was creative in suggesting multiple designs I could choose from. She is detail oriented, responsive, punctual and fairly priced.”

“We worked with Foley Fiore Architects on a custom home in a suburb west of Boston. As the general contractor's site supervisor I worked very closely with them and can attest that their approach is collaborative, solutions oriented and client driven. Their staff is highly professional and pays tremendous attention to detail and client service. We look forward to working with them again.”
David Whitney Architect

“When we were looking for an architect in March 2012, David's bid was one of the highest, but we decided it was worth it for the quality of his work and the services he offered (both the design services and the total project management for the entire duration of construction). We hired David to design a full renovation of the unfinished attic portion of our 2nd floor condo and navigate the City of Cambridge Zoning Board of Appeals process to get our design approved. We had an idea of what we wanted our space to look like and David offered suggestions based on his own expertise and experience. The final design was approximately 800 square feet that included two bedrooms, a full bathroom, landing, several closets/eave storage spaces, and storage room. One bedroom, the bathroom, and stairway were dormered and the hallway included three skylights. We were very pleased and impressed with all of the work that David did and he was terrific to work with. We were also very pleased with the contractor we worked with, Nick Aloise of Trans-Atlantic Development Corp, with whom David had worked before. They both had a very high attention to detail and the finished work blends in perfectly with the style and look of the existing 2nd floor. During the construction phase (June-October 2013) we had weekly meetings to check in on the status of the project and deal with the unexpected things that always come up during construction. When the time comes to do any other renovations to our house, we would hire David again without hesitation.”
Douglas Okun & Associates

““You can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse” - Maybe not, but Doug Okun and Associates did succeed in turning what was once attic space in a Victorian house into a third floor modern suite. Indeed, by moving walls, and re-configuring space, he managed to create two bedrooms, a bathroom, a sizable closet and a gracefully curving staircase from the second floor. What had been dark, even claustrophobic, rooms became the bedroom level of a two story condo unit in a very desirable location in Somerville, Massachusetts. Doug worked closely with his contractor to see us through an at times arduous permitting process. In every respect he was indispensible.”

“Holly, Lisa, and the team at Nashawtuc were incredible to work with (twice!). We have now built two homes with them and have been more then thrilled. Lisa's capacity for information knows no bounds. She is always motivated to find the best solution, she researches whatever it takes, she dives deep down on every single detail. Her creative and solid solutions for the complexity of our home were truly amazing. She worked with our builders incredibly well and she helped us achieve an incredible dream home!”
