I just used ClosetsbyDesign to renovate an unused room in my house to be a multi purpose space (office, mudroom, storage) and I could not be happier with the outcome. The results exceeded my expectation and I now love my new space!! Christine was amazing to work with - she knows her stuff and was there for me every step of the way - I have already started on a second project! 5 stars all day long!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Elisa on a new walk in closet design. Elisa arrived at the scheduled time, which is always a good start. Elisa worked with me to design the closet of my dreams. She was very detail oriented and took all of my needs/wants into consideration. She made great suggestions and by the end of the appointment I had not only the design but I knew what the project was going to cost. Contract was signed and I can’t wait to see my new closet. Liz and the installers of Closets by Design did an outstanding job. Liz in particular designed the perfect closets for my space. And her kindness and professionalism was second to none. I am so happy with my purchase. Both the cabinets as a product and the professionalism of Liz and the installers is the key reason why I will only get cabinets by this company while telling my friends about their products and the effectiveness of their service.

We recently worked with Samantha Gadd to design our closet in our master bedroom. We renovated our house a few years ago and this was the one spot that never fit in with the updated house. Samantha took the time to understand what I was looking for and helped design something that was functional using every inch of space we could. I knew nothing about closet design and she helped make the process so easy!

Hired them to install a closet. The hanging clothes are in the walkway of the closet. The drawers are stapled together, the shelves are made of MDF wood and the edges are raw when you change the shelves, the edges you get cut. The shelf bends when you items that are over 10 pounds on the shelf. They also did not have all of the pieces to complete the closet. Installers showed up 3 hours late. Poor design, poor installation and cheap product for a premium price. Avoid this company.

Michelle Jacobson worked with my wife and I on installing custom closets and shelving in our newly finished basement. As we both live in Philadelphia, we had some concerns that installing these would make the room feel smaller and closed off. However, Michelle has an incredible eye and , from the beginning, was committed to finding a design that fit our needs. She is incredibly creative, dedicated and friendly, and was able to bring our vision to life. She is also great to work with and made the process more enjoyable by bringing a warmth and energy to every meeting. We are very happy with our custom closets, built-in desk, and shelving and look forward to enjoying this space in the future! We would absolutely recommend Michelle and Closets By Design and will keep them in mind for our own future projects.

Cay Evans designed 2 closets for our master bedroom, both were a little awkward size bigger reach ins. They were installed by Marshall and Trey- we could not be happier with the way they look and function. The customer service was excellent, the installation was super fast, and the closets look very high quality. The prices were very fair. We will definitely be coming back to closets by design in the future!

I was very impressed by the professionalism and the product delivery of my closet. It is beautiful and efficient for all my clothing needs. Joseph Decker was the designer for this project and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He gave me all the necessary options and at the end I was very pleased with his recommendations. Tyler Holliday was the installer of my closet and he was very professional as well. He was on time, completed the work quickly and excellently.

Let me start by saying that I put a lot of faith in reviews when I am researching, so I took the last 9-10 months to really see how this product fit into my every day life and held up over time. I’m happy to report that I’m still very very pleased with our experience and purchase from Closets by Design. We have a new construction house that was just over 2 years old and a mud room that was just existing. There was no function to the space, no real purpose other than a catch all for coats, shoes, bags, dog items, and things that didn’t make it to the laundry room. It was a mess. Designer Deb came to our rescue. She came in, listened to us talk about what we thought we wanted and how we would use it in our every day lives. She asked questions and took it all in. Next thing I knew, she had a sketch in front of us that was better than we ever expected! She explained why she chose certain features, like the 17 inch roll out basket at the bottom, the two drawers on either side of the basket, the bench seating, and closed cabinets with adjustable shelving. We would start to talk about something we saw on Pinterest and how I was thinking we could fit it into our small space (like a cushion for the bench) and she took a tactful approach to explain the pros and cons to let me decide if it’s something I actually wanted based on her experience over the years. I can not say enough great things about our experience with Deb. She was here for about 3 hours, and it was a pleasure working with her! Now installation and materials - Installation was super quick and clean. The team was very professional and didn’t leave any mess behind. They were wonderful and the workmanship was great. The one piece that is keeping me from a 5 star rating is that I wish the materials had hidden fasteners. Truthfully, it’s not something I even thought to ask about or for, so I’m not sure if it’s an option that we could have chosen. Right now we can see all of the connections (two pictures included) and although I’m sure no one else sees them when they come to the house, I see them everyday. Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to turn this space into a part of our home and we couldn’t have done it without Deb’s vision. UPDATE (sorry it’s taken me a few months): The team came out and as promised made sure I loved this unit. They added a shelf under the cabinet to hide the locks, and replaced the hooks so I couldn’t see where they were screwed in. Amazing. And as usual, they were extremely clean, diligent, and professional! Last picture was replaced to show the end result. So happy!

After meeting with three vendors we chose Closets by Design for one reason and her name was Jillian Coyle. Her knowledge of her product and her overall presentation was far better than her competitors. She is a true professional and a real asset to both her company and more importantly us, her customer. High strongly recommend you use Jillian.
