Innovative Closet Designs

We used Innovative Closet Design during a remodel to outfit the primary closet and add built-ins to an office. We had high hopes after visiting the design room, reviewing the plans and paying a significant amount of money. Unfortunately, what we hoped for is not what we ended up with. Parts were installed incorrectly, there was dirt and writing left of pieces, the wood glue used on every single piece was dirty. They came back to fix it which slightly improved things but overall, the experience with them was awful and the final product was not worth what we paid for. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Innovative Closet Design installed a pantry when our home was built. It was attractive and efficient. But, over time we needed to add to it. I called, described what I needed and had a designer here within two days. After measuring and showing me a sketch, I agreed to the project. It was done within two weeks and looks as if it has always been in place. The pantry is attractive, efficient and just what I wanted. The price was excellent and the service and installation was exceptional. You cannot go wrong!

Terrible experience. I found the communication regarding are project to be constantly confrontational. The salesman and owner were incompetent and rude. They definitely took advantage of us.

We’ve had a great experience with Innovative Closet Designs. They have installed a closet & glass shower in closure for a steam shower. Very pleased with everything from the salesperson, scheduling to the installers. The salesperson was thorough in measurements for an odd space. The installers were neat and friendly. Although we didn’t meet the design team, they did a fantastic job of creating just what we were looking for. We will be using ICD again!

STAY AWAY. Used even though expensive as I had played tennis with father and wife taught his son. Agreed on pre Thanksgiving installation with only person we ever dealt with but owner did not put on schedule and OULD NOT BE DISTURBED WHILE IN FLORIDA so nothing happened to get clothes off floor as everything had been removed from closet. Installation when finally done was done incorrectly. Bookcase drawer was too small and double poles in one closet was 6 inches lower than other with clothes dragging on floor. They did come back to fix but even screwed that up. Finally they agreed to a 10% discount for the scheduling contract but charged credit card for full amount and I had to chase to get. NEVER AGAIN

We had a wonderful experience with this company. They returned our calls right away, were always on time, pricing was very reasonable and our jobs were done early. Workers were neat and respectful also.

I would never use this company again. They don't stand behind their work. They installed a closet system in our sons bedroom and the whole system came down. Luckily we were not home at the time as this could have caused serious injury to us if we were home. They told us this has never happened in the 15yrs of installing closets. The only possible explanation is that they installed it improperly. We had less than 20lbs of weight on the top of the closet when it collapsed. They want to charge us another $280 to fix the problem with no guarantee this won't happen again since they can't provide an explanation of what happened the first time. Buyer beware of this company!!!!!

Innovative Closet Designs has been a pleasure to do business with. We have had closet cabinets, laundry room cabinets and a guitar cabinet (all custom designed) installed. They are all beautiful. They stand by their work and if the drawers or doors of the cabinets have settling issues, they will come out without any problems to re-adjust. Recommend highly. L. Tytla, Hillsdale, NJ
