Kathleen is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with in all of our renovations! She listened closely to ours "wants" and "needs" for the closet, and designed a space that works for us. Our closet was very oddly shaped, but Kathleen's design optimized the use of space so that every inch has been put to use without making our closet look cramped. It has been so easy keeping our closet organized because the design was so well-thought out. Her subs were extremely professional and the quality of the work was off the charts! Kathleen did an amazing job listening to and assessing my needs. My project involved designing the closet space, tear out of original closet, sheetrock and painting, install of the carpentry by master carpenters, mirrors and countertop space, electrical and lighting, and hand scraped hardwood flooring. It was a process that required orchestrating a team of professionals in various specialties to transform the space from a dark, dreary and non-functioning closet to a tailored environment with a design that will stand up to the test of time. I used another custom closet design firm in my previous home and The Couture Closet is superior to anyone else you will find in this business. I am very particular and Kathleen lived up to my expectations with her discerning eye and thoughtfulness. Kathleen is AMAZING with PHENOMENAL customer service and provides a top notch closet with the best materials !! My husband decided he wanted Kathleen do redo his closet after seeing mine . We hired Kathleen to design two custom master bedroom closets (His and Hers) during a renovation of a new home. Space planning and design were key as Her closet was very long but narrow while HIS was wider but shorter in length. Each person had their own design/function requirements. Kathleen was very easy to work with, she provided excellent drawings for the construction of our cabinetry and was very hands on during the design, production and installation of the entire closet--recommending hardware, closet rods, glass doors, lighting and hanger selections. We are very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
