We've needed a good storage solution for a long time, but we've always been intimidated by the costs. We never even tried to get quotes because we assumed it was out of our budget. The first few quotes we got from local cabinet makers were exorbitant and atrocious. We also got quotes from other well-known national closet companies. Portland Closet Company gave us the best quote. Dinah was our designer and walked us through the designs and measurements. We needed the shelf in a very short turnaround time (less than a month from consult to installation), and Portland Closet Company promised us that this was possible. We got a surprisingly good quote that motivated us to get another project done (murphy bed). This was another project we had in mind for several months down the line, but the quote we got for both was too good to resist. A snowstorm hit Portland for about a week, and we were sure that the installation would be delayed. But to our shock and surprise, it wasn't! Special shout out to Jill! She communicated with us at every step of the way, was always available, and extremely responsive. Mo was extremely kind and saved us multiple drives to Portland. The installation team did an exceptional job. Both projects were done in a day and a half. There were some kinks in the installation, but Portland Closet Company was more than happy to fix them for us. They followed up with me multiple times to make sure both projects were absolutely perfect! They covered even the smallest imperfections. We are absolutely impressed and happy with how this turned out. We couldn't have asked for better. The quality of work, the people we worked with, literally everything about this company is perfection. Don't waste your time getting quotes from other companies. Portland Closet Company is the place to choose!

Daniel did a wonderful job designing a bookcase that I wanted for a Den/TV/Library room in my new condo. The shelves were adjustable, with cabinets below for storage and great lighting was added. We needed to convert a guest bedroom into a more usable space, preferably with a wall bed. Mo went above and beyond, designing a built-in unit to cover an entire wall from floor to ceiling. He was able to incorporate all of our requests, including colors, hardware and additional electrical and USB outlets. He also ensured we had two expert installers who completed the installation in a timely, efficient and professional manner. We couldn't be happier!

I have to say I was very disappointed in Portland Closet's performance. I got a recomendation from a good contractor but their execution fell short of what I expected! They were very coordial but thier execution left us wanting and we really should have checked out other options. They had to make about 6 visits over a span of about 8 weeks to complete their installation, over Thanksgiving and Christmas. They just couldn't seem to get the measurements quite right for what was a pretty simple project. They told us our project would be done in 2-3 days. The end product was OK, but it was expensive and their execution was just unprofessional. I have had prior work done by California Closets and they were efficient and professional. I wish I had them give us an estimate. Oh well, I would certainly do more homework next time. I thought we might have gotten a discount or some compensation for the inconvenience, but no. They were apologetic their execution was really unacceptable. Looks nice but it was hard getting there! Felt like I had hired Eldin from the Murphy Brown TV series, the never ending job... It was comical in the end.

Excellent products and easy process. Their ability to customize is amazing. This job came at the end of a months-long remodel/refresh and we are happy to have nice looking organization in the house and garage. Install was quick and clean.

We hired Portland Closet Company to install a wall bed in our guest room. We started by going to their lovely showroom, where we saw a finished unit and got a general idea of what we wanted. We were also able to select from a wide variety of finishes. Their designer Mo then helped us figure out the configuration that would work best in our space, as well as additional details such as lighting, pulls, etc. The unit was installed recently and the whole process went very smoothly. We are very happy with the result, which turned out exactly as we had planned! the entire staff, from the receptionist in the showroom, to the designer, to the installation crew, were very helpful and professional. We highly recommend this company!
