“I can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Joanna Knox of Knox Home Interiors on my kitchen remodel. From the very beginning, Joanna took the time to really listen to my ideas and understand the vision I had for the space. She has an incredible ability to take what you’re imagining and turn it into a cohesive, beautiful design. What I appreciated most was her thoughtful guidance throughout the entire process. Joanna made suggestions that I never would have thought of on my own, and so many of those details ended up being what truly made the design come together. She was able to offer her expertise and creative ideas while always keeping my personal style and vision at the center of the project. Just as importantly, Joanna was wonderful to work with throughout the process. She was responsive, patient, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure everything came together the way I envisioned. I always felt that she was listening and that my ideas mattered. The end result is a kitchen I absolutely love. It feels like my kitchen, only better than I could have imagined. Joanna is incredibly talented, but what makes her special is the way she combines her design expertise with the ability to really understand her client. I would wholeheartedly recommend Joanna and Knox Home Interiors to anyone looking for a designer who will truly listen, guide you through the process, and bring your vision to life.”

“We moved from a large suburban home to a much smaller apartment in Boston and hired Sacha to help us plan and design the space, as well as curate new furniture for every room. Transitioning to a more compact living environment requires a completely different way of thinking about how space is used. Sacha proved invaluable in creating interiors that are not only beautiful but exceptionally functional. She transformed what had been a large entry foyer into stunning, minimalist custom cabinetry that seamlessly conceals our coat and shoe storage, hand tools, dog gear, gift wrap station, seasonal bulk storage, and even our audio-visual rack. Sacha has impeccable taste and an extraordinary attention to detail, often suggesting subtle changes that make a significant impact. For example, she recommended incorporating additional glass into a new shower enclosure that initially felt small. By using glass instead of tile, she dramatically opened up the space both visually and practically. Beyond guiding the construction and millwork, Sacha also helped us source all new furniture. Her assistant, Sofia, thoughtfully created multiple floor plan options and patiently revised them based on our feedback, even as input from different family members evolved. The final selections struck a careful balance between aesthetics, quality, and cost, prioritizing investment in areas with the greatest impact. Sacha is warm, approachable, and refreshingly direct. I would highly recommend her for any planning and design project.”

“I have been working with Joshua Alan as my interior designer on the renovation of my gentrified wool factory loft, starting with the foyer and currently continuing with the bathroom. We already have plans to work together on the study and office, the kitchen, and the living room as well, which should already say a lot about the level of trust I have in him and his work. Josh is very good at listening and truly understanding what a client likes. He has a strong ability to translate abstract preferences and feelings into concrete visual directions. He consistently prepares thoughtful references and proposals, often hitting my taste very accurately from the start. At the same time, he is flexible and open to feedback, and when something does not quite work, he pivots quickly and proposes clear, well reasoned alternatives. He has a great visual sense, a wide range of ideas, and is comfortable exploring multiple design solutions rather than pushing a single approach. When challenges arise, whether conceptual, technical, or budget related, he focuses on finding solutions and clearly explaining what should be done next. I also appreciate that when I asked him to look for more affordable options, he was able to do so without compromising the overall vision. Josh is very communicative and reliable. He regularly visits the site, stays on top of progress, keeps me informed, and clearly outlines next steps. He works with a solid, professional crew and adapts well when circumstances change or when I come in with specific requests. On top of that, he is transparent about his pricing, which makes collaboration straightforward and comfortable. I intend to continue working with Josh on the remaining parts of my property and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an interior designer who combines strong visual skills, good listening, practical problem solving, and dependable execution.”
