“My husband and I were hesitant to hire a designer for our kitchen, thinking we could take on a project of this size (entire kitchen) ourselves. Thank goodness we changed our mind! Heidi at Delicious Kitchens guided us through the complicated and often overwhelming process with her extensive knowledge, experience, professionalism and patience. She was able to recommend products we didn't even know existed, and handled so many details that would have otherwise caused undue stress. At our first meeting, we described what we had in mind, the products we liked, along with our design ideas. I was adamant that I did NOT want a modern looking kitchen. I did not care for the idea of "clean lines". I like curvy lines and rich, warm colors. Heidi listened to that and designed the kitchen from that point forward, never losing sight of my preferences. The kitchen she designed for us is not only beautiful and inviting, but extremely functional. I love to cook and entertain frequently, and I find the kitchen both easy to work in and comfortable for my family and friends. We completely gutted our existing kitchen, and took down a wall to make the area larger. We bought all new appliances, replaced flooring, cabinets, countertops and lighting. I am so pleased with all our choices. Heidi guided us through all of that, discussing the pros and cons of various products, the maintenance, and what choices would work best with our design and budget. Heidi was also able to work within the budget. She helped with any decision we needed her for, and was quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. When I think of what we could have come up with ourselves, and I look around at my gorgeous kitchen that I will enjoy for years, I couldn't be happier that we hired Delicious Kitchens, and would strongly recommend them to anyone.”
