“We received the contact for Talee Renovations from Bar-B-Ques Galore in Calgary. We wanted to have our fireplace rock facia replaced as we purchased a new gas fireplace. We met with Mike from Talee and began discussing our desire to update the fireplace. The conversation was guided toward the use of an interior designer as Mike was focussed on ensuring we knew exactly what we wanted before the work proceeded. To make a long story short, we opted to have Talee perform a significant renovation on our home. They performed the entire demolition and replacement of: Cabinetry, custom framing for fireplace being moved, bathrooms and new railings/stiles. Talee built custom cabinets and moved electrical outlets to accommodate our new room layout. The bathrooms were completely updated with new tubs and tile work/fixtures. The railings surrounding our sunken living room were removed and replaced with a very modern style of our choosing. The custom millwork and rock facia are second to none. Andrew, the fabricator is very talented and gave us exactly what was in our mind's eye. The work was done on time and they focussed on just our job which meant there were no delays. Very impressively, Talee cleaned up the worksite every night before leaving. We lived at home during the renovations. Talee partners with excellent contractors for the electrical, railings and bathroom tiles. We are very satisfied. Talee wasn't the least expensive option but we certainly got what we paid for. We felt all costs were fair. This company is very professional and accountable. We are enjoying our home now more than ever and some features are even nicer than in multi-million dollar homes.”

“We are absolutely thrilled with the granite tile re-facing that was done to complement our gas insert fireplace in the living room. Durock fire board was attached to the original brick facing and then 1.25 x 6 inch granite tiles were mortared on top in a vertical orientation above the mantle, and a horizontal orientation below. The tiles are cut from from scrap granite counter material making this an environmentally-friendly renovation project.
