“We were lucky enough to have Tyler come to our home to help us design our new kitchen. He always arrived on time and was very professional and curteous. Of the professionals we talked with, he was the only one who truly listened to what I was saying I wanted and liked , instead of telling me what I should want and like. I cook and entertain A LOT and Tyler really took that into consideration when making the plans for our space. He had the "anything is possible" attitude, but at the same time really kept our budget in mind, and made amazing plans, so, we went with him. We couldn't have been happier!! We have had terrible experiences in the past with remodeling projects, so we were a bit worried, but Tyler put all of those worries to rest! His plans were AMAZING! The color scheme I had wanted and LOVED, all soffits removed, plumbing and electrical re-routed, existing lighting removed, new lighting installed (the perfect amount!, I was worried it wouldn't be enough, but he was right!), all appliances moved into much more practical places (and places I would have never thought of), beautiful cabinets (actually gained cabinet space with his design!) with incredible hardware and under cabinet lighting, quartz countertops that completely fit my "wants" that I didn't even know existed (I love quartz but the look of marble, so he found me quartz that looks just like marble,!), an enormous island that is the perfect size (but again I would have never thought I could go that big, but he knew what he was doing!) and an absolutely gorgeous limestone backsplash!! He hit the nail on the head over and over! There wasn't one thing that we wanted to change with his plans! I was shocked! It was even more amazing than we ever thought our outdated and dark kitchen could look! Not only do we absolutely LOVE our new kitchen, he kept us totally in budget and got this big project completed in a VERY timely manner (which was WEEKS faster than the other bids had quoted!). We LOVED working with Tyler and would do it again in a heartbeat!!”

Reasons I chose Delco: -Owner’s “can-do” attitude. Very positive. These are multi-week projects. It’s important that I enjoy working with someone on a daily basis for that length of time. -Owner is consistently on-site. -Overall value was substantially higher than others. -Ability to use my own designer (Cary Gerschutz of DeLuca Designs…highly recommend). -Referred by trusted individual. Reasons I recommend Delco now that the project has been completed: -Communication: Owner proactively provides regular updates on project without it being overwhelming. -Proposed budget was in line with final cost. -Attention to detail: Example: Our designer marveled at the final product of the “pebble floor” in our shower. Each stone was placed by hand; it did not look “manufactured”. -Any unknowns (you don’t know what’s behind the wall until you open it) were disclosed up front with worst-case scenarios clearly outlined, with an under-promise-over-deliver mindset. -Very respectful of our home: Stairs and walls were protected prior to starting. Items were carried carefully. Accidents can happen but we were fortunate that we experienced not one bit of collateral damage. -Respectful of our family: They used earbuds instead of a stereo. No yelling or unnecessary noise. Got to know our dog and were happy to close the door each and every time they made a trip from the outside of the house to the inside of the house. Even in their communication: If I wanted to talk through some things, he wasn’t rushing me. And likewise, if I was busy, he was respectful of that and kept things brief. -Cleaned up every single day. -Any snags were met with a positive attitude. No blaming of others; great accountability. -Vast majority of work done by Delco; very few subcontractors. -Project was completed within the “worst-case scenario” timeframe and, had it not been for subcontractor delays, it would have been done sooner than that. All of Delco’s work was done in a timely manner. -Flexible with mid-project adjustments. Conclusion: A project like this is a big financial and time investment. I really enjoyed working with Delco. I’ve already referred friends to them. The end product was better than expected. Finally, my designer, after the project was completed, told me that, if I used a typical home remodeling company, I would have paid significantly more for a lesser product. Again, stop searching, use Delco. You’ll be happy you did.”
