It brightened up our kitchen space. Our master bath shower was also remodeled into a walk in with custom features. It completely changed the look of this space. Great job !”

“***UPDATE***: DFWI and I sat down to review and discuss the concerns originally outlined. With the help and direction of their warranty manager, our concerns were addressed and we could not be more pleased with end the result and customer service by both the senior management and warranty manager. -------------- Was highly impressed with the sales and designer who helped planned our remodel. Unfortunately the process of having to keep a schedule for the lead contractor that outline daily tasks/needs/next steps was frustrating but needed given he nor his team did it. Therefore if we didn't do it then we nor they would know what needed to be done. We had our kitchen, foyer floors, fireplace and master bathroom renovated. The overall work was very sloppy. The kitchen cabinets was the worse work completed. Our request was to keep our cabinets and have them painted. Instead of spray-painting as written in our quote it was hand brushed. We were told this was a better way only to learn after the fact it was the "cheap" way. The process shows every mistake and worse, the contractors took short cuts by not removing the doors but painted in between sides. This caused paint to get inside the cabinets that were not taped off and there are over 100 areas throughout the kitchen where you can see the original color (yes, I've counted). When asked about this the solve was to re-paint the same short cut way to only have the same problem. And on top of it, the workers got paint everywhere due to not covering up countertops, appliances and our hardwood floors. Which by the way, we had to clean up. A year later I still see all the mistakes including paint that I missed cleaning upon. It's unfortunate that we will have to spend money to eventually get the entire paint job re-done. The sloppy work didn't even last a year. The part that still sticks with me is that it was obvious to both me and the contractor that the work was sloppy. My bad for not making them re-do everything as it was outlined in my contract. We've had 4 neighbors and family members overs to see the work for referrals. And in all cases, I did not and will not recommend DFW. Our improvements are satisfactory at best and the experience was very frustrating. What we experienced is not something we would want our family/friends to go through. I personally think to prevent many of the things we went through and ended up with, DFW should have one of their senior staff or separate managers not part of a project review the final work with the assigned manager to confirm the work that is to be presented has the DFW stamp of approval.”
