Custom Countertop Contractors Near McKinney

“We highly recommend DFW Improved for your kitchen or bathroom remodel/upgrade projects. They did an excellent job with our projects. We especially appreciated having an on-site project manager( Cole), who was very responsive and knowledgeable. He also did an excellent job in sourcing the appropriate staff for each element of our remodels. They were all very respectful and efficient. We are pleased with our custom built cabinets and enjoyed working with our assigned designer Krista who sourced excellent material options for our tiles, countertop, paint colors, etc.”

“We couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel! Without knocking down a single wall or adding extra sq footage to our smaller zero-lot-line patio home, Tribute Kitchen & Bath completely transformed our kitchen into an inviting, highly functional space perfect for entertaining. The workers they hired are absolute pros-polite, incredibly meticulous, and careful to protect the rest of our home while cleaning up thoroughly every single day. Plus, their vendor recommendations for cabinets and countertops were top-tier quality. John & Trudy are honest, highly professional, and trustworthy. We felt completely secure working with them; we highly recommend them!”

“I highly recommend Faye Nielsen and The Nielsen Collection for any remodeling project. My husband and I needed a general contractor to manage the renovation of our powder room, laundry room, guest bathroom, and master bathroom. While we already had a designer who provided the initial concept, we were looking for someone to bring it to life and oversee the entire process. I found Faye on Houzz—or rather, she found me! We had just parted ways with a contractor a few days before they were set to start, so I uploaded our project scope, design concept, and material list to Houzz. From there, I selected about ten general contractors to interview and walk through our home. Each one received our designer’s renderings and material selections, but Faye stood out immediately. She arrived at our first meeting with a meticulously organized notebook, complete with dividers for each room, samples of every paint color and tile we had chosen, and thoughtful design improvement suggestions. One of her best recommendations was using Porcelanosa tile throughout the space, which turned out beautifully. What we didn’t realize at first was that Faye is not just a talented general contractor—she’s also a designer and a lighting specialist. Although her quote was the highest, we quickly saw that she was worth every penny. She met deadlines, stayed on budget, and the final results exceeded our expectations. She’s professional, punctual, and easy to work with, whether you need full design services or someone to execute plans from a designer you already love. Throughout the project, we made a few strategic changes based on Faye’s expert advice, either to modernize the design or reduce costs. For example, we swapped out $1300 pendants in the powder room for $500 sconces and upgraded all the tile to Porcelanosa. We also opted for large-format tiles in the master and guest bathrooms, along with new sinks and a rain showerhead. I never considered myself a tile enthusiast before, but I absolutely love the finished look. Faye’s crew is just as impressive—highly skilled, detail-oriented, and professional. They kept the workspace clean and were some of the best tradespeople we’ve ever worked with. We will absolutely be using Faye again for future projects!”
