“We engaged Backstrom Remodeling for the complete remodel of our first floor, which included: - new kitchen - taking down walls - removing popcorn ceiling - all new flooring - new trim - new windows - multiple design adds and changes We absolutely love the result and wouldn't change a thing. Even though we went WAY over our original budget, it was because my husband and I made additions and changes throughout the project and we are SO happy that we did. Bryan would say, "I'll do whatever you want!" and then give us the cost impact so we could make an informed decision as to whether to proceed. He is meticulous in his craftsmanship and makes sure it's done right. One of the best things is his communication--I work from home and I'm a freak of a planner, so it was important to me to know what work was scheduled for the next couple of days. It was also important to me that the guys he brought into my home were polite and professional, and that I felt safe with them there. Hands down a fantastic team. After hearing horror stories from friends and families about contractors gone bad, it was a relief to work with Bryan--he offers great ideas, is very knowledgeable, fair, works hard, and is fun to be around. We are already hoping to have Bryan do our Phase 2 (upstairs), Phase 3 (bathrooms), and Phase 4 (deck)!”
