Who ever heard of a contractor that shows up on the scheduled day and at the appointed time, that devotes a crew to your project and doesn't leave you hanging for weeks while they work at another site, that promptly answers all your questions and addresses all your concerns, that works with only the best subcontractors who share this incredible work ethic and drive for excellence in everything they do? This is all about AFCON. It's a local family business run with love. Father, mother and sons take the greatest care in everything they do. Marco was our project manager. He oversaw the work every step of the way. Whenever we had a question or hit a bump along the way—which, let's face it, is inevitable no matter what you're doing or who you hire—Marco took care of it. One call, text or email and he was on it. Jayme, the on-site manager, made sure that each day got off to a smooth start and ended with the work done. And it was always done! For one, because the AFCON crew is amazing. You've seen those guys who work 15 minutes, go out for a smoke, work 45 minutes, go to lunch, come back 2 hours later, have a nice chat and a good laugh, work an hour and go home? Not these guys. They work hard, they're efficient, they're SO polite and, most of all, they're respectful of your belongings. Then there are the subcontractors. AFCON hires only the best. Our flooring guy worked miracles with the LVP we bought. He knew exactly how to place the planks so you never see the repeating pattern. The counters and backsplash were measured and installed by RocArtz. To say they're perfectionists is an understatement. Also some of the greatest guys to have in your home. The plumber was a joy, with lots of helpful hints about our new sink. And again, these subcontractors were always there when they were supposed to be and finished as scheduled. Now here's the most unbelievable part ... the whole job was done on budget! Marco actually suggested ways we could save money. And our kitchen is now everything we have ever wanted. Floors, lighting, counters, cabinets all look incredibly beautiful; the job looks completely professional. Which it is. To everyone who worked on this project, a huge thank you! Marco, you're the best!! You can be sure that when it comes time to refresh other parts of our house, you're our go-to guys. Check out the before and after shots.
