“We had been putting off our kitchen remodel because my wife and I are both very busy with young child and big dog. I know construction and I always thought it was going to take several weeks or months. That was when we found and called 7 Day Kitchens. Barry, the owner visited us And walk through our wants and needs and answered a bunch of questions we had. I was impressed we got a budget that day. We took some time to review the budget document and a few days after we decided to move forward. What surprised me was how much happened before demolition ever started. Michelle our interior designer was Wonderful and her and Jason really helped make our vision a reality. By the time a crew showed up to install the kitchen, we had already made every decision - cabinets, countertop, backsplash, hardware, lighting. Every detail was thought out. We love our house but we don't have much driveway space and I was happy a dumpster wasn't taking up driveway space for weeks. Being honest construction itself was intense because there were people here working long days, but it moved fast. Jason was our main point of contact during the work and we knew what was happening each day. He is great! Everyone that came in and out of our house was professional and considerate. I was worried my wife and daughter might feel unsafe but everybody made us feel very comfortable. They joked and had fun but got their work done quickly. There were a couple of small punch-list items at the end, including an adjustment to a cabinet door, and they came back and handled them. Our biggest concern was the island. The old one made the walkway between the kitchen and family room feel cramped. During the design process they changed the size and position enough that we gained storage without making that walkway worse. That change sounds small, but it is probably what I notice most now that we are using the kitchen every day. The kitchen feels like it belongs in the house now instead of something that was added twenty years ago. I especially like moving from cabinets to drawers. What a change! The lighting under the upper cabinets also makes a huge difference. If your biggest concern about remodeling is how long your kitchen will be torn apart or the contractors who will be in your home, I would put 7 Day Kitchens on your list to call.”
