After getting serveral quotes from different companies, KK AND B was the one that stood out and wanted to turn old into modern. I explained what I wanted done, they came back with a couple of blueprints to what they thought would be best. An old tight bathroom was transformed into a modern bathroom that offered more space. From Klein Kitchen and Bath customer service to installation, I was very satisfied with everything.”

“We engaged Berceli to remodel our kitchen in our New York apartment. The kitchen was unchanged since the building was completed in 1986. The layout was poor, making it almost impossible for two persons to work in there at the same time. We had thought about how we wanted to change it and had a specific re-modeling in mind. Berceli’s designer created the final design after discussing various ideas for improving the initial design we had come up with. We ordered our cabinets from Berceli (Miralis, custom made in Canada) and Berceli set up an appointment with a tile shop in Manhattan to help us select our floor tiles and backsplash tiles. (We bought our appliances from Gringer & Sons, who coordinated delivery with Berceli.) The work took six weeks, as planned. The Berceli team that did the work was excellent. They took great care in protecting our living room and dining room floors and containing dust within the “tent” enclosing the work area. They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving each evening. They adhered to all the condominium’s regulations and remained on good terms with the building staff throughout the job. They consulted me whenever necessary during the work (I was working from home part of the time), proposing options for running new electric lines (I opted for a route that involved making three small holes in a bedroom wall), and proposing plumbing options (I opted for sealing off the original water line to the refrigerator and running a new one from under the sink, so I could have an easier-to-access shut-off valve there). The team was particularly impressive when it came to cosmetic details. For example, when doing the backsplash they spent several hours planning the tile layout and discussing it with me before starting work. Most impressive of all, they found a way of mounting the Miele retractable range hood that we had chosen so that, when retracted, it was exactly flush with the front of the adjacent wall cabinets (something not provided for in Miele’s installation kit and something we had not seen in any showroom). We are delighted with our new kitchen and dining-area cabinet unit. Not only does it look beautiful but now the two of us can work in the kitchen at the same time. We can also talk to guests sitting in the living room while we work, because the kitchen is now so opened-up to the living and dining areas of the main room.”
