dRemodeling Design-Build
Quartz Countertop Companies in Upper Darby
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsJune 2, 2025
“I was so pleased with dRemodeling after they completed my bathroom in March, I took a deep breath and went ahead with the partial kitchen remodel planned with the wonderful designer Emma. I am somewhat color challenged and she helped with the countertop design, backsplash, and range hood and also help me pick out a new microwave. Gabor is definitely a master craftsman of the old school kind. He did an incredible job with the backsplash. I don’t know if you are thinking about doing a remodel in your home, but if you are, you can’t go wrong with dRemodeling. Mike and Caio were on top of everything. If an issue came up, it got corrected in a flash. My bathroom and kitchen looks so amazing. I feel like I’m living in someone else’s home. Everyone that was sent out to do work on the project was very kind and respectful of me and my home. I felt very comfortable in working with everyone. Remodeling is definitely an invasion of your routine, but it is so well worth it.”

Weiler's Kitchen and Bath Design Center
Quartz Countertop Companies in Upper Darby
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 2, 2014
“Weiler's was the sixth of seven Kitchen designers we contacted as part of our total kitchen renovation project. The moment we were greeted at the door, by designer Warren Guertin, we felt welcomed into their showroom and that Weiler's wanted to listen to our ideas and work with us to realize our vision. Warren thoroughly reviewed the material we prepared to shop and consult with designers -- a 40 page PowerPoint presentation with existing floor plans, photos, estimated time line, cost estimates ,and some ideas we wanted to see in the new kitchen. Weiler's quickly wanted to work with us, offering to come to a home visit for a detailed review of the existing layout. Warren developed some initially designs and had us come into to review the plans and started the process of looking at some options for doors and colors, countertops, and backslashes. All along, we had tried to fairly evaluate several designers, focusing on a total package of design vision, product selection, ability to completely execute the plan, and provide a good working relationship for the life of the project. Others did not match up to the commitment and willingness to work with us. One wanted $4000 to design a kitchen and make key product selections BEFORE really determining the cost of the kitchen project. Another talked a good game, but their responsiveness and showroom amenities fell far short of Weiler's. Two others didn't even bother to try to schedule an initial meeting or follow up after about 6 weeks of initially meeting. It is so critical when planning a major kitchen or bath project to have a team that you are comfortable with, that is responsive, and offer basic amenities like a chair and beverage at their showroom. We found it very uncomfortable with one option that looked at various kitchen options, spanning several hours over two visits without once being offered to sit down. They proudly shared that people spend hours sitting on the floor looking at tile. Warren offered multiple design alternatives surrounding the placement and options of our new layout for cabinets, countertops, and the replacement for our large nook area. Warren was extremely responsive with our concerns regarding project schedule, material selection, the knowledge of their installation teams, and the overall customer satisfaction approach. Warren offered his expertise in cabinet facing and material selection, wood color selections based upon our color palette, multiple options for counter top vendors, ability to work with a specialty glass tile vendor that was not part of their normal offering, and his recommendations on appliance sizing and placement. Even as the project was unfolding, Warren was willing to listen and REACT by changing cabinet sizing when the physical design of the cabinet meet the reality of the physical installation space. We were really impressed that one of the cabinets were able to be changed before the installation of the cabinets commenced, and that an over the sink cabinet was able to be swapped out, as recommended by their finishing carpenter as well as my wife. While our design include trim to be installed over the new vent duct soffit, the carpenter suggested not to use the trim molding as the soffit would virtually disappear when painted. To date we have extremely pleased with Weiler's and Warren, As I write this, the next 24 hours should see the nook with custom made benches and table top will be finished along with the rest of the installation. I have been most impressed with Weiler's owner, who I have met on several occasions at the showroom, the many phone call and store discussions with Warren, their project support coordinator, the project manager, the carpenter teams and electrician, as well as the contractor they use for tile installation. They had several countertop suppliers, and Suburban was very supportive and helpful if pulling together a terrific pattern and color to match the cabinet color and design. Garden State Tile supplied the floor (porcelain) and travertine backsplash, along with Anna Cabo art glass tiles for accent and areas of focus.”
