“The wife and I have had the same old Sears Range/Oven for the longest time. As a matter of fact all of our kitchens appliances were very dated. Last year for our anniversary I had the entire kitchen remodeled and we purchased all new appliances. One of my favorites so far has been the Frigidaire Professional 36'' Induction Cooktop that we purchased at Lowes. I was dead set against the idea of a glass induction cooktop at first. I had grown up with gas ranges and I always believed that gas was the best way to cook. My mom used to always that electric stoves were no good for cooking. My wife did a lot of research online and she wore me down, and I am so happy she did because I am very pleased with the performance we get from out Induction Cooktop. I love how the glass cools immediately when the stove is shut off. The performance is amazing. I hate to say my Mom was wrong, but in this case maybe she could learn a new trick. Anyways I was cooking breakfast the other Saturday getting ready for a big day of working in the yard, when our cooktop threw up an error code 30 and quit working. What a bummer. We had to go out for breakfast and while we were out we Called New York Appliance Repair and set up an appointment, we asked for Vince, we have used him several times in the past when we had our old appliances, and we had not seen him since before the remodel. I was anxious to hear his opinion on the changes we made to the kitchen and the appliances we chose. Vince showed up on Saturday afternoon early and we showed him the Kitchen. He was really blown away; he said it was a beautiful remodel, and that we had done a good job of choosing our appliances. My wife was ecstatic. She likes Vince, she says he is very funny, and he reminds her of me, only if I was Handy, ha ha. Vince checked out our Frigidaire Induction cooktop and he discovered that the control board had been faulty, and it burned out. He said that was not to common with these units, but it does happen. His estimate was fair as usual so we scheduled a time when he could return to install the control board as soon as the parts came in. We scheduled it for the following Saturday when we were having a little backyard barbeque with the neighbors. We told Vince to show up at the end of the day and he could have some bar-be-que with us. We all had a good time, and Vince did a great job fixing out cooktop. We love New York Appliance Repair, we call them whenever we need anything fixed, and they always do a great job, for a reasonable amount of money, what more could you ask for. “We purchased a Sapphire Glow dishwasher a few years ago, and I have never been happy with it. It has a poorly designed bottom dish rack. If you over load does not work right, and if you put small items in it they fall through. The other day my teenager overloaded the dishwasher even though I have told them many times not to do that. So the rack came off it track again, and I tried to jam it back into the track, and I bent the wheel assembly and now the rack will not slide in anymore. So I called up the good people at Dallas Fort Worth Appliance Repair and set up a repair call. They said they could have somebody out to our place in 2 days which seemed acceptable to me. The technician George told us he had seen this problem before. He said we could order a new rack which is pretty expensive or he could try to bend the wheel back and make it work. After talking to him about my dishwasher I decided I wanted to buy a new dishwasher and get rid of this massive lemon, but I like to have time to research products before I buy them, so I told him to see if he could just bend the part back and get it to work temporarily until I can get a new Dishwasher. Not only did he get us up and running quickly for very little money, but he gave me the number of a guy who got me a really great deal on a new washing machine that works great and was very reasonably priced. I am so happy I called Dallas Fort Worth Appliance Repair. I cannot thank them or the technician George enough for their help, and their honesty.”
