“Jameson and his team were amazing! I met with several contractors (four to be exact) and knew immediately that West Coast Deck was best qualified for the job. They were also quick to respond and get my project going. I had designed rough plans and Jameson was able to help me fill in all of the design elements, overlooked details, and structural measurements to carry it out. Their attention to detail is impeccable. The entire job from start to finish was nothing but a positive experience. Outdoor living in SD is a must. The deck turned out absolutely gorgeous, worth every penny. I can’t believe how fast they completed it. Very impressed. I would 100% recommend West Coast Deck to anyone. I am hoping to get them back soon to help me with a few other projects. Thank you Jameson!”

“I had Ryan and his company resurface my patio about a year ago. He pressure washed it, fixed a number of cracks, applied texture, and then a color sealer coat. He and his crew did an awesome job, and were very clean and professional, paying attention to detail, like around the edges. The project was delivered on time and on budget, and the deck looks great. I had a few self imposed stains over the last year that I couldn't get out, and he came by the other day (at no cost) and gave me some pointers on how to clean and maintain the patio. They really stand behind their work, and I would highly recommend them.”

“It is a pleasure to write a review on the above business. This company, owned by Ron Nelson, has actually replaced all the windows in two different condos that we owned. This included a total of six sliding doors and 15 windows. They also extended an exterior wall and installed a side door in the garage. The staff are very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Ron Nelson was very easy to work with and had good suggestions. He has been in this business for several years and it shows. I would highly recommend this company for any project that they are able to do.”

“I found Teak Master looking for ideas on how to enhance the natural color of our Ipe wood deck. I had played around with the thought of stripping the shinny varnish coating our contractor had applied and allow it to weather naturally on its own. But after viewing the before and after photos of wood decks on the Teak Master website, I knew allowing the wood to weather wasn't an option. I walked through each option with Tim and Raul and came to the conclusion that a tinted oil seal would work best with the recent stone landscape upgrades we had just finished. The guys came in a washed the deck clean the first day. I was impressed on how meticulous they were in covering the windows and areas around the washing (me being a neat freak I was so appreciative of this) The next day the crew came in and deep sanded the wood smooth. The sanding made the wood look brand new, it was pretty amazing to watch! After viewing various color tints, I decided on a recommendation from Raul on a "warm honey tone." I appreciate how patient Raul was on showing us a multitude of colors to get exactly what we wanted. I know it is difficult to change the natural color of Ipe wood, but they were able to do it. The guys hand brushed the sealer on and we couldn't be happier. Our deck looks amazing!!! Compliments and highly recommended.”

“We used Dave Fraser and his team to rebuild our deck on our new home. The project was large and complicated—probably the largest residential deck I’d ever seen on a home, riddled with termites and totally unsafe to walk on. The original bid was far outside of our budget, but Dave helped us redesign the deck and walked us through how we could make it work within our budget. The new deck, although smaller, doesn’t feel so because it was redesigned so well. The project mostly stayed within the budget, with a few unexpected charges related to unexpected wood rot that was discovered. I was particularly impressed with how Dave handled discussions about the charges. He is very empathetic and understanding and was willing to work with us. Beyond budget and design, we found Dave’s crew extraordinary. Every worker was polite, stopped working and addressed questions, even helped with a couple of things outside of the project. They were all professional and kind. We love our new deck. It is something we will enjoy for decades. With such a large investment, we wanted a company and crew we could trust to do a great job. Dave and his crew not only met this criterion but exceeded it.”
