Michelle just loves design, and she has honed her skills through education and professional experience. She has a degree in interior design from Miami University and has been with Ethan Allen since 2007. As a senior designer, her goal is to build relationships with her clients and create spaces that are as unique as they are. While she is skilled at layering patterns and textures popular in French and traditional styles, she also loves the simplicity of contemporary design and everything in between. Her favorite part of her job is creating design visuals to show her clients all of the design possibilities for their spaces.
Offering services such as space planning, personal shopping, color consultation and renovations. If at the end you are enjoying your space more than you possibly imagined, then I have done my job.

This story began almost 37 years ago with high school sweethearts Diane and Doug. -- a double whammy -- Identical twin girls. Growing up as identical twin is not rainbows and unicorns. Actually, in Amy and Christie's case, it was more like fist fights and skateboards. All that is in the past, both are now married and combined, have six children. Amy and her husband Colm have four boys. ALL BOYS. Crazy! Declan, Finley, Dempsey, and Cillian. Christie and her husband Logan have two children: Burke and Josie. There is also a younger sister, Danielle (husband Sam) and her two children: Oliver and Mabel. Needless to say their lives are full of craziness and they love it. In November, 2014, Amy was diagnosed with stage four Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Cancer. One word changed the lives of the entire family. Amy left for the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota 8 days after being diagnosed. She returned to Cincinnati and began intense chemotherapy. The cancer was in all her lymph nodes, bone marrow and spine. The treatment was grueling but she fought hard. Amy is now in remission and the entire family are forever changed. This experience made Amy and Christie question the way they were living their lives. They realized their lives are too precious to spend time doing jobs they didn't enjoy. With one leap of faith, Salvage Sisters Restoration + Interior Design was born.
