“Let me begin with......I am IN LOVE with my new screened in porch. (Side note. So are my cats. Maybe more than me but I doubt it) If it hadn't been for Michael and Henry being the main 2 subs on the build (all the carpentry and advice) I think I would have lost my mind on this project and possibly been a not so happy camper in the end. I’ve been told you can have that on big jobs. But thankfully with Henry and Michael in my corner I ended with a beautiful product and the journey wasn’t too bad either. It started with me picking a contractor (they will remain nameless) after doing 4 estimates. I thought I picked correctly. And I guess I did in a way. I got Michael and Henry out of this after all…but the other subs and the contractor not so much. Henry and Michael looked out for my best interest throughout the entire build when my contractor didn’t seem to be. I think he thought he was. I wish I had known about Headers 2 Footers before this build because the process would have gone so much smoother. But the silver lining is I had them on this build and they were a god send. They helped me get through everything the way my contractor should have been and I will have them on any future plans I have for my house as well. We are actually already talking about putting in a much needed new front porch. So if you are looking for a couple of guys with integrity, creativity, friendliness and skill to back it all up, pick these two. I promise you won’t be disappointed.”

“We are adding a screened porch to our existing house. After the brick foundation was installed I began searching for a company to install the flooring. The Deck Specialist was actually the third consultation that I scheduled. I was undecided on which product and which installer to use and felt overwhelmed with information. The owner proved to be very professional and knowlegable and helped me make decisions that were very important to me. His patience and ability to answer all my questions gave me the confidence and trust that I needed in order to choose an installer. I was open to his ideas and he steered me toward a stained wood floor. The project was completed within 3 days and I am very happy with the results. I was really impressed with the crew's service and with how well the project was handled by all involved. The Deck Specialist has quoted me a price for a future deck and I will most likely be contracting with him again. As a customer, I am really happy to have hired someone that is trustworthy and highly experienced at what he does.”

“We were so pleased to finally find someone who was not only willing to work with our very difficult landscape of steep slopes and old installations, but also with us, finding the right solutions at the right price. The results, a high-quality two-level custom designed and engineered deck with stairways, are stunning - both beautiful and practical. Kevin and his crew also installed some much-needed drainage solutions that have solved more than one problem around our patio and under the back porch. They worked hard and continuously and were a pleasure to work with. They finished by thoroughly cleaning up and planting grass around the new installation.
