American Deck and Patio

We had American Deck & Patio remove the old deck that was rotting and replace it with a new larger deck. They did a fine job and completed it on time. The work crew always cleaned up the work area at the end of each day which we thought was quiet impressive. Overall we are very happy with then end result.

Absolutely beautiful deck. Only company willing to do a cross gable roof that was our dream (& for a fair price). Finished the project in GREAT time (inspections & all). Our neighbors routinely tell us that it looks so good the builder should add it as a standard feature for this type of house.

I have always been reluctant to use contractors for work projects on my house. However, I was extremely happy and surprised with American Deck. Andy initially met with us to go over what we wanted, and gave us some new ideas that we never even considered. He was very easy to work with and patient with our concerns. We were so pleased with the quote and project proposal that we didn’t even bother to get additional quotes from others. We were given a start and completion date, and expected the project to take well over a week. We were shocked to find the work begin over a week early and completed in less than 3 days. Daniel and crew arrived daily at 7am and worked past 5pm each day. I have never seen carpenters put so much care and meticulousness into their work. The quality of the project, from initial discussion to design and construction went great. The right amount of recommendations without the sales pressure. And very importantly - finished on-time and within budget. This was a 2nd story (in the rear of the house) deck with screened in porch with skylights and sliding windows making it a 3-4 season room. The team also built our new front porch.

Very glad to find a local Hereford/Parkton business, it made choosing a deck railing so convenient. Dave Lombardo/Project Manager, was on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. We were unsure as to right look for our situation but he easily navigated us in the right direction as we now have a deck railing we really are pleased with. His crew were wonderful in their work ethic; being prompt, courteous, very efficient, neat and clean in dress and their work habits. Their knowledge of the product exceptional. An issue arose with a stair rail and it was dealt with professionally, quickly and correctly. I would not hesitate to recommend American Deck with Dave Lombardo and his great crew.

This was our second substantial project performed by American Deck and Patio. You will not find a more skilled crew of craftsmen. Meticulous in both design and execution. Dave Lombardo and Bill Hensley from American Deck and Patio did an amazing job designing, planning, and building our new deck, outdoor shower, and privacy walls. We received Dave’s information from our friends who used American Deck and Patio for their new deck and screened-in room so we knew that his company did great work. I first spoke with Dave over the phone and we went over my project needs and estimated the materials and cost to see if that was within my budget, which I thought was prudent to ensure neither of us would be wasting our time. His costs were very competitive and cheaper than some other quote I had received for the deck. Soon after our phone call Dave came to our house and designed our deck right on the spot, which was impressive to see him knock it out so quickly. We quickly saw his expertise and experience firsthand. While on site he helped explain the process, answered all questions we had, and we went over the details of the project. We had to wait on materials because we went with a cable railing system, which was no fault of American Deck. Luckily for us the materials came in on time and once the project started it was smooth sailing. Bill Hensley was our deck builder and we couldn’t have been happier with the quality of his craftsmanship and his professionalism. He showed up everyday (even one day it snowed) and kept a very clean work space, which was much appreciated because we had just spent a lot of money to upgrade our patio. Bill answered any and all of our questions and made sure to double check with us if he had any questions prior to progressing. We couldn’t be happier with American Deck from start to finish. They completed the job exactly how it was discussed and completed on the timeline we had planned. I would highly recommend them to any family, friend, or stranger! American Deck and Patio completed all of the deck, privacy walls, outdoor shower, and the wall in between the gazebo. The patio was completed by Horizon Outdoor Design.
