A couple of years ago, I decided that we needed a fire pit. I shopped. And shopped. Couldn't find exactly what I wanted - and the process were crazy! I spoke with a contractor friend and he referred me to Mark at AZ Backyard Custom. I went to Mark's place. found him to be a super nice guy. He is very creative, super talented and thinks outside the box. That's a great combination in this business! I went from shopping pre-fab fire pits to customizing a fire table to fit my exact specifications! I worked with Mark on the size of the table, the exterior finishes, gas line location and an assortment of decorative extras. He even drove to Sedona to install it! I have attached photos for you. It is easy to clean and maintain. My wife and I have received tons of accolades about the table. We have referred Mark out often. So much so that now, I need a prefab barbeque island. I shopped. And I shopped. And once again, ended up with Mark for a custom designed and built barbeque island - for far less than the pre-fab islands I was looking at. It has been designed to my exact specifications - with a ton of input from Mark. It is going to be a showpiece! In short - if you are in the market for a custom built backyard centerpiece item for a price that is generally equal to or less than the prefab items - contact Mark. You will be glad you did.

Mark was amazing. We knew nothing about fire pits and he was very patient while we decided what we wanted. Ours is beautiful and perfect! He also worked with us as we had a slab of granite we really wanted to use so he personally connected with our granite guy to be sure it all was perfect! Once again he is stepping in to help us as we move and will be converting it from Propane to Natural Gas. He has is a super positive guy and extremely responsive besides building beautiful products! 5 stars!!!!!!

At the Gainey Suites Hotel we wanted to add another dimension of outdoor ambience to our Hearth Room Patio. Arizona Backyard Custom (Mark Chiappetta) designed the perfect solution with a granite top fire pit that uses propane tanks as we didn't have a natural gas line feed. Our guests love to gather around the fire pits and sit in big comfy chairs every morning and evening. You can see where they are in our signature courtyard at twilight shot on our website.
