We felt from start to finish that everyone involved, from design through post-construction, was genuinely interested in helping us get exactly what we wanted. All were responsive, professional and pleasant to work with, plus the workmanship was excellent. They take pride in their work and it shows! We love the pergola they built for our new covered patio and would not hesitate to use Austin Outdoor Living again. Highly recommend!

We could not be happier with the work and professionalism displayed by everyone - and I do mean everyone - at Austin Outdoor Living Group. Michael Foster was our main contact. He returned texts and calls promptly and was a real pleasure to work with. Nola Lee, Ralph, Hunter were also a big part of the process. Someone came out every day to check on the work and progress. We had a big project and it was completed very nearly on time. Weather was the only thing that held up things a bit. We thought we wanted our outdoor kitchen to be a separate structure, by the pool. Michael and Nola Lee immediately saw, instead, the potential of adding the outdoor kitchen directly off the house which is what we did. It looks as though it has always been a part of this house and doesn't look like an add-on at all. It is spectacular and we couldn't be happier. Everyone at AOLG was very attentive and it was an overall, excellent experience. I would recommend Michael and Austin Outdoor Living Group to anyone - they are a really great company who take care of their clients!

We are very pleased with the work they did on our deck . We had a wooden deck. Dan and his crew helped us converted it to a covered concrete patio with balustrade railings. This deck was a very complicated project, 6 feet raised from ground, low pitch metal roof, balustrade stair railings and 11‘ high ceiling. It is a pretty challenge project but they finished the job beyond our expectations.

After discussing ideas with three other landscape/hardscape companies, we found Noelalee and the Austin Outdoor Living Group. Our experience with Noelalee and her team was absolutely outstanding. This group understands the importance of listening to the client and has the expertise to design elegant patios and walkways that meet the client's needs and expectations and, that can be done at a reasonable price! We had a large patio designed and added a walkway and second patio. The men who did the work were friendly and outstanding craftsmen. Equally important, they cleaned up the yard every day before going home. All aspects of the project were discussed and put in writing. All costs were included - no hidden charges. We have had so many complements by our neighbors, friends and family - we believe our patio could easily be one viewed in a formal outdoor living magazine advertisement! We hired AOLG to upgrade an existing outdoor deck. They designed & installed a new hardwood ("Ipe") floor, iron railings & a screened outdoor living area (~14 x 14 feet) with a metal roof. * Noelalee, our primary contact, was great. She spec'd the project & quickly fixed any project snafus. Typically returned our calls within the hour. * The project was completed almost 100% on schedule. This is the first contractor project I've seen in 20 years that came anywhere near close to this standard. * All of the craftsmen, whether direct or 3rd party, were experienced in their respective specialties. This wasn't their first rodeo. We would hire AOLG again. No hesitation.

This company is one of the most unprofessional I've dealt with over the decades. Phone calls are not returned for days on end, emails not responded to, and in the end, she dropped off the face of the planet with no call or explanation. It's not that I was difficult to work with, in fact I was highly patient, never complained and just waited. She did come out and view my job (a replacement kitchen) but made no suggestions for upgrade (which as it turned out was needed for safety reasons). In hindsight this now calls into question her competency. She gave a verbal estimate but then never got back to me. After three weeks of waiting I contracted with another contractor who came out promptly, made constructive recommendations, and got in and out with the job expeditiously. This stuff is not cheap, I paid a hair under $10K. So no reason to deal with lackadaisical (or nonexistent) service. In my opinion, Austin Outdoor Living Group is the epitome of the bad contractor. Stay away!

We recently worked with Austin Outdoor Living Group and had a fabulous experience! They designed and constructed a 1400 sf patio for us, complete with a kitchen, serving bar, deck with hot tub, and a fire pit. It's well constructed and beautiful. Dan, their designer we worked with, was professional, prompt to respond, enjoyable to work with, and designed us a wonderful outdoor living space that we love. The workmanship is great, and they were very willing to make things right when hiccups occurred, which they always do during construction projects. We feel very lucky to have worked with AOLG, and love our patio!!

We really enjoyed working with Noelalee and Ralph and their incredible crew. We were so thankful for all the time she spent with us in estimating our large covered outdoor patio, kitchen, and pergola. She was great to work with showing us examples of their work and what options were available so we knew exactly what we were designing and how it would turn out. AOLG beat out 3 other contractors for this work. 2 years later, we couldn't be more pleased. The workman ship from her crew and attention to detail were impressive. It's great to entertain on our patio and have people comment and compliment it. The space is incredible and we absolutely love it and use it often. We have recommended Noelaee to multiple other friends and they too had the exact same incredible experience. AOLG is on my short list and is always the first I recommend when someone has a need for an outdoor space. Do yourself a favor and have this company estimate and then do your project! We had several deck contractors come by to provide bids and design ideas but were not comfortable until we discovered Noelalee and Austin Outdoor Living Group. She was the only one who was able to provide a well thought out design and a bid using the best materials for our outdoor living space. All phases of design and construction were exactly what she said they would be and she exceeded our lofty expectations. Noelalee ensured we were satisfied throughout and we could not been more pleased with the finished product. Now we are enjoying our new deck to the fullest.

This family business employees responsible contractors who were respectful of our time by being on time or calling if there were to be any delays. They were always willing to answer questions for us and make suggestions when necessary along the way.
