CT Deck Pros

"CT Deck Pros" replaced the entire set of front stairs and back decks (2 stories high) of our 5-unit condo building. The company was very customer-oriented and negotiated an excellent price with the condo board. Their recommendations and suggestions as to materials and colors were spot-on for the location and terrain. The company negotiated extensively and successfully with the Town Building Dept., not an easy job given the space restrictions of the property. The workmanship was first-rate, the results superb! All condo owners and neighbors, friends and visitors were full of praise for the quality work and final look of the project. Our building became the highlight of the neighborhood, the style of the stairs and decks and quality workmanship gave it new presence. I cannot recommend "CT Deck Pros" higher!

Jay and the CT Deck Pros team stripped and repainted our deck this summer. Jay came highly recommended by a friend and now I know why. Jay offered great advice on a product and color that would work for our application and we are very pleased with the result. He was great to work with and very responsive when we had questions throughout the process. Most of our interactions with service providers have some element of frustration but jay and his team went to great lengths to do the job right and were great to deal with from start to finish. We will use them again without hesitation.

Ct. Deck Pros were accommodating, courteous and worked hard to get the job done. They came during cold weather and remained professional. They totally replaced five decks and stairs with porches. They made certain existing codes were followed and that required changes to the spaces where the previous structures had been. Pine Wood Condominiums are happy with the results.

The background: We planned our wedding to be held at our house. However, the town recently informed me that the +20 year-old deck on the house that I purchased 2 years ago was illegal (never permitted) and would have to be removed immediately. Given the threat of fines and the liability risk, we had little choice but to remove and rebuild in a very short timeframe. The solution: CT Deck Pros broke ground about a week before the wedding and completed everything with a day to spare. The deck is beautiful. The wedding was beautiful.

CT Deck Pro's designed a beautiful deck to cover our ugly Bilco Door. We are very happy with the service and attention to detail. They are very reliable and came to our appointments on time. CT Deck Pro's worked with the City of Stamford to assure we met all code requirements with proper permits. We think they are great and just recommended them to a new neighbor.

I'm fussy. I tend to look after every detail and I'm highly critical.! Having said that, I'd have to say that Chris Paquette is the finest contractor I've ever dealt with and his crew (Steve and Rich) where also the best I've ever dealt with. At my first meeting with Chris, I became very impressed. I had drawn up some crude plans and had photos printed from the internet of a deck railings I liked. Chris immediately knew the manufacturer of the railings (while I did not.have a clue). He brought along a number of samples of possible flooring, etc Chris then dealt with my insurance carrier who was proving to be very difficult yet he did so without complaint! The crew arrived and I met two of the nicest guys I've ever met. Real craftsmen and eager to work with me on the finer points of the deck which were not entirely clear in the plans. In the end there were a few very minor oversights. A few hurricane strips missing (cost = $3.00) and Chris installed them himself without complaint and some vigor.. In the end I heartily endorse Chris Paquette whose expertise and ethics are beyond question and the crew I worked with..

Chris and his guys did a great job on my deck, my wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result . Chris was honest and straightforward and took the time to answer each question that my wife and I had. I found his workers to be kind and trustworthy as well. Also, the job was completed in a timely manner.I would highly recommend Ct deck pros and already have to friends and family in need of this kind of work. -Matt from Stratford
