Decks by Ziec were very professional and did a great job redoing our deck. The material they use is one of the finest material and very good looking lumber. They finished their job on time and even cleaned all the debris.

This review is for Decks By Ziec. I partnered with Mr. Ziec and his team on a deck resurfacing/expansion in July 2023. I started this project without any prior knowledge about the trade. I contacted a few companies based on referrals, but when I came across Decks By Ziec and their highly positive reviews, I thought to take a chance and contact them. While other organizations took more than a week to return my initial inquiry, or even didn't at all, Decks By Ziec contacted me the next day, and maintained close communication throughout the process. Within a few days from there, Andrew was at my property to assess my deck and provide his recommendations. While not mandatory, it was refreshing to speak with someone in-person. Also, by visiting, Andrew was able to take measurements and offer exact estimates, which was reassuring. I was pleased to find that there weren't any high-pressure sales tactics and Andrew was patient enough to answer all of my complex questions. I felt comfortable and that this company was honest, professional, and down-to-earth. Peter and the team handled all of the permit applications and inspections with my township and it was a seamless process. The written contract and documentation were all very detailed/technical and this also gave me further reassurance. There was only about a two-month waiting period during peak season for work to begin. The deck project only took about seven working days, which I believe is very efficient for the scope of work (essentially building a 20'x13' deck). Tomas and his crew diligently worked through hot and humid conditions, took good care with the surroundings (shrubs and irrigation system), didn't take any shortcuts, and left the area tidy after each day. Despite a few surprises such as needing additional flashing and replacing some house siding and trim, Tomas took the high road and remedied these items as part of the project. I truly felt the crew at Decks By Ziec treated my deck as their own, giving it much care and attention. They were honest, efficient, detailed, professional, and competitively-priced. I'm not someone to trust online reviews, especially ones that are so positive, but I'm so glad I took a chance with Peter, Andrew, Tomas, and everyone from Decks By Ziec.

Andrew and his team were extremely professional, punctual and got the job done in the promised time frame. They were a pleasure to work with and their craftsmanship is amazing! We are so thrilled with our new deck and would highly recommend Decks by Ziec!

One of my deck rails was dislodged by last week's storm. All it took was one call and my rail is in place more secure than before. The guys were on time, professional and courteous and most important really good at what they do

They were extremely easy to get a hold of and answered any questions I had through out the process. Ziec and his crew were professional, efficient, and thorough. We booked him just before the pandemic. He worked with us through various setbacks and delays. His work even impressed the local inspectors. We even discussed future projects. Highly recommend. Ziec worked with the existing landscape and was able to incorporate a beautiful deck seamlessly into the patio and pool.

Decks by Ziec did an awesome job on our pool deck a few weeks ago!! We were amazed by the final product and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We are so happy that after doing extensive research online and in-person meetings with various companies, we selected Decks by Ziec for our deck remodel project. Our first meeting was with Andrew and we appreciated how much time he spent talking with us about our ideas and also offering suggestions. We had an idea of what we wanted and needed to incorporate, but greatly appreciated his input and expertise. They were quick to give us a quote and always very responsive in returning calls and communicating with us. Thomas and Brian started on our deck and showed up as expected each day. They were great! There were a few times we were not sure how something would look or not sure if we were making the right choice so Thomas would stop to walk me through it or give me input. The deck was finished in a timely manner and exceeded all of our expectations. We incorporated a hot tub and decorative privacy wall and really love how it all turned out. In the past (on other projects) we often experienced delays or would never hear back from contractors, but this was not the case with Decks by Ziec. Their workmanship and customer service is amazing and we will continue to highly recommend them to anyone looking at deck project.

We went with Peter because his work spoke for itself and he was a vetted vendor by Homedepot as well. We put plans together and then moved forward. The deck looks amazing and the sliding door added also looks great. Highly recommended!!

Decks By Ziec did more than rebuild a deck for my wife and I. They revitalized an important part of our home. The deck was not an easy job by any means, but Andrew & Jacob were more than up to the task. From start to finish they promptly arrived each working day and were friendly and professional. Most importantly, they were such skilled craftsman it was hard to believe that any other deck could have been on our home. They finished the job in the time frame I was given at the signing of the contract and the work areas they used looked just as they had been prior to the start of demolition.
