Express Sunrooms

I am amazed at how beautifully our sunroom turned out. Our project was taking a screened porch and turning it into a sunroom that really became an addition to our home. We worked with Eric (owner), Kent (project manager), and Scott (project builder). We ended up having to wait a few months to get it started, but it was an extremely rainy season with a few hurricanes to contend with. It ended up being for the best, because we had more time to think and share ideas with Express Sunrooms. I have worked with quite a few contractors within my job and having previous projects done at our home. I have to say that we have never had a better or easier experience than our sunroom project. Materials were of very high quality, and installation and building was amazingly accurate with attention to the finest detail. Instead of wooden beadboard that we planned to put on the ceiling over the insulation, Scott suggested using tongue and groove wood, then he brought it down at a perfectly matched angle above the brick side of our house making a sort of triangle-shaped design. It was artfully done. We needed specially made large triangular and pentagonal windows made for the very top of the room, and they are trimmed beautifully, a real eye-catcher, as you enter our sunroom. The painters and floor finishers also did an excellent job and readily accepted and followed through on any suggestion or request we had to make the job more exact. Sunrooms Express has its own architects and engineers which cuts down on the cost that we would have to bear had we used a regular contractor, which we do have. He is honest and highly qualified, but his quote was literally double what we paid. The amount that Erik gave us as a total cost was exactly that. Even when more work was needed in some areas and a more expensive built in double AC/heating unit was purchased for them to stay within their promised timeline, our price never went up a penny. These people are honest, hard-working, attentive, responsible, and kind. They have all the qualities that one would look for in a friend, but they are businessmen. What a gift to not have even a single issue or unpleasant moment throughout this job! I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Our sunroom is absolutely lovely, and we have received countless compliments on it. Sunrooms Express earned every word of this review. Our new room is now our favorite one in our home.

Once paid for the job, this contractor went completely out of communication. The sub contractor for the 10x24' deck was incompetent. This job continues incomplete after six months of calls, corrections and poor workmanship. The contractor took the money and ran! I do not recommend this contractor as I now face serious $$$ to correct his mistakes.

Great company came out & gave me an estimate and a time frame when we were discussing the details. Professional, respectful company & each individual I cam in contact with. Express built me a beautiful screened room & paver patio. I love my new outdoor room & highly recommend them for your next outdoor project.
