Exterior additions did a fantastic job adding an Eze-Breeze system to my current screened in porch. The quality of the work along with the communication throughout the process was excellent and their pricing was unbeatable. Shane was my PM for the project and Mike and Dustin helped with the install. Shane’s communication before during and after install was above and beyond as he checked on the project and my satisfaction after completion. I don't have enough adjectives to express how awesome this group was to work with. I was a bit intimidated at first knowing my budget and two previous price quotes . I was very open with Josh on my first conversation where I told him what I really was looking for and he found options that would work with my budget without sacrificing appearance and functionality. Jason and his team who built the structure, thank you. This team showed up early every morning through the craziest of weather where I assumed they would not work. Cold or rain didn't stop them. Shane, my project manager, was the best in communication. I never had to ask when something was happening. He was in constant communication. Working with him every week was amazing. I couldn't believe I just did a 2.5 month project with absolutely ZERO snags. When they finished I was actually kind of sad to not have them around anymore. I felt like I made friends along the way. Also, thank you to Murray who came on at the end. For those who have a smaller budget but still want an addition, don't be intimidated. These guys are awesome! I sit on my porch every morning and evening and have not regretted this addition once. Neither have my cats!

I rarely write reviews, but Exterior Additions is such an exceptional company, I just had to write this. From the initial communications to our now finished project, we could not be MORE THRILLED! We have had neighbors stopping to ask if they could come take a look, friends who have seen pictures on social media asking for referral, and family not wanting to leave the porch when they come to visit. We initially contacted Exterior Additions in March 2019 because they were a preferred supplier of EZ Breeze windows which we wanted to have for our new porch. On their website I was able to design and price out what I wanted as far as our new space. The cost shown on the website was 10%+ less than other quotes I received and I was very pleased when Josh came out that he quoted almost exactly the same amount. We were told up front that the project would not start until July, but Doug was in contact with us, helping get ARC approval from the HOA and matching materials to our existing house. When the project did start, they worked fast! In a week's time, the entire 12x20 space was framed out, roof attached, painted and finished. We then ordered the EZ Breeze windows and those were installed the day after they were delivered. Every step of the way we were in communication with Doug and his team. We knew when people were coming and what was being completed that day. They cleaned up each day as if they were not even there and the work was excellent. In all, this was the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. If you are looking for professionals to build you a porch or sun room, look no further.

Doug and his team have been incredible since day 1. I first reached out to Doug almost 2 years ago to get pricing and options, as i was not financially able to start the project at the time. He worked with my wife and i, even knowing that we were not going to commit to anything for at least 18 months. Fortunately we were able to commit a few months back, and our new porch was just completed 4 days ago. Doug guaranteed our project would be completed in 30 working days, and they wrapped up with a week to spare. His working team was always on time, professional and precise. Although the mock-ups were spot on, i was still blown away with the final product and wasn't fully prepared at how amazing the space would look once complete. Doug was able to meet all of our needs while still fitting the project within our budget. 5 stars is not enough!

Every aspect of our project with Exterior Additions exceeded our expectations. Doug was enthusiastic and collaborative when we were exploring options. He addressed all our priorities (safer staircase design, small uncovered grill area and deciding between a large room or a room/uncovered deck split). The heaters make the room comfortable on cold mornings, and our girls love the extra space to run free. I do not give 5 stars easily, but Exterior Additions was superb. All trades carpentry, painting and wiring were HIGH quality. Good price, great quality. They kept the project schedule as best as contractors can with weather and suppliers. I would highly recommend.

I could not be happier with the excellent screened-in porch that Exterior Additions built for my family! The owner, Mr. Doug Lynch, is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Exterior additions was great to work with. Unfortunately my neighborhood hoa rejected my project due to having to have a flat roof needed for the porch. From the first meeting with Doug until the last nail was set, we were very comfortable with him and Exterior Additions. 100% Doug listened to what we had in mind, discussed options to consider and we all arrived at a great design that not only fit our needs but our budget as well. Esthetically, our addition looks as if it was always there. Matches perfectly and doesn't look "added on"! Outstanding job Doug! After signing the contract, Doug took care of everything, the permits, the HOA approval, scheduling everyone, everything! His crews were very professional, courteous, and constantly cleaned up after themselves. It was great. We hardly knew they were there. During construction, if a question came up that involved a slight design change or modification, they discussed it with us before implimenting. Exterior Additions used quality materials throughout our addition and didn't skimp on anything. All the old materials were hauled away and the entire area was not only swept clean but dragged with a magnet to pickup any missed nails / fasteners. We are always out enjoying our addition, weather permitting, and it looks as great today as it did when it was first completed in 2013. You can really tell our addition is built well.

I could not be more pleased with the craftsmanship, professionalism, and final results from this company. Living in an older home, we have used numerous subcontractors for remodeling and upgrading over the years. Exterior Additions was THE best. You will not be disappointed! We used them for two major projects: 1) a beautiful three-season screened porch, and 2) a two-car detached garage to match our home. Both projects were done within the time frame and budget that were promised. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and all of the workers were friendly, courteous, prompt and respectful. (This is very difficult to find these days!) They even cleaned up after themselves, which is almost a miracle — trust me, we have used many contractors who did not clean up. We also felt comfortable to leave the home unattended while the workers were present. Again, this is not always the case, so we were grateful to feel confident that we could leave when necessary, even with our older children home. We also had Exterior Additions re-pave our concrete parking area and create two patio areas, one with pavers and a fire pit. Doug’s comrade, Ed Italiano, did an amazing job on this as well. Get on their waiting list now. They are well worth the wait!

Simply the best contractor in Charlotte for exterior additions. It wasn't easy to pick a contractor to build my new porch and deck as there are many to choose from but they definitely live up to their reputation. Doug Lynch and his team are perfectionists and are extremely knowledgeable. I went with all of their recommendations on sizing and products. They make sure everything is perfect and even come back months after the job is completed to make sure everything is okay and to touch up the paint, etc...They are extremely reliable and always return a phone call, text or email the same day. I could not be more pleased with the final product!

Amazing!! Back of house is on a slope and decking sits about 10 feet off the ground. Doug & company built the screened porch with small side deck in 2016. Loved it so much, had them add another 25 feet of decking on the other side in 2017. Absolutely love it. Year-round use.

I removed the deck from the back of my house and had Exterior Additions add a screened in back porch with a small open deck for my grill. They actually started the job earlier that had been planned and the work was completed ahead of time. They were very professional and answered any questions that I had concerning the job. I also added the Eze-Breeze windows that they told me about. They make it possible to sit on the porch, even when it is raining and these windows also keep my furniture from getting wet. This was the best investment that I have ever made. I would recommend Exterior Additions to anyone who is wanting to add on to their home.
