Gilligans BBQ Islands

I'm happy with the BBQ island but after they deliver the island it was impossible to get them to fix the light that went out. Almost 3 months of calling and emailing them, we finally got someone to come out. All he did was to leave a note saying he didn't fix it but left an extra light and to call the office. I had family coming out to see our new home and was promised that the light would be fixed. Come to find out, what they did was to splice several lights together, put electrical tape on it, and plug it in. The tape came loose and therefore the lights went out. I had to pay an electrician to fix the shotty job that was done with the electrical. I just wish they would stand behind their product and not just ignore you. Customer service after delivering a product is extremely important, there wasn't none here.

Unfortunately they never finished our island and charged us quite a hefty amount. They didn't order enough stone and then didn't come up with any solution. They won't answer our calls to even talk to us about any options. Extremely disappointed.

We were looking for someone who sells standalone barbecue islands to replace the one we sold recently with our house. We had been searching for days when we finally found Gilligan's website and Sophia who was awesome! On checking their products and prices, we were pleasantly surprised we could get an even nicer barbecue than the one we gave up, and for the same price we paid 13 years ago. It took the exact estimated time for delivery--5 weeks as predicted, and was delivered by 3 workers who performed their duties quickly and professionally. They placed the island where we wanted it, unboxed and unwrapped everything, assembled it and removed all their trash, all in about an hour. And we live in a rural area, which required them to bring it about a half acre from the curb to its present location. It looks great, and works fantastic. Thank you so much for the excellent service, quality and price!

My experience with Gilligans BBQ was not good. He committed to getting my bbq island done in a couple of weeks and couldnt deliver. When he did deliver, the bbq had issues with quality. After a week of using the firepit, we had an explosion due to bad installation. Before you choose to use Ivan, i would do my research, the material he uses is cheap and that is why he can charge less. Seriously, please do your research before choosing Gilligans BBQ.

What a great experience it was dealing with Ivan. I met him at his shop to go over some ideas for my back yard. We decided on a Palapa Island Bar.
