We gave Ray a clean slate to create an outdoor living space and he exceeded our expectations. He designed an incredible outdoor living space that included two covered patios along with an outdoor grilling station. His attention to detail was impressive and was always forward thinking of how to make things either more efficient or cost effective for us (e.g., placing our ceiling heaters on timers so we don’t accidentally leave the heaters on all night and get a sky-high electric bill at the end of the month!) The project manager, Ben, and his team (Christopher, Jake and Josh) were extremely professional. They were always willing to go above and beyond to make sure we completed the project on time to our specifications. For example, Christopher showed up early most mornings to prep the site for the day’s work. Several neighbors commented on how courteous they found the crew. We appreciated that once they started the project it was their top priority, and we weren’t juggled around between other projects. I also found working with the office staff, Trina, to be wonderful. She was always responsive to my e-mails. Most importantly, Ray and Ben got the project done on time and within the budget we set. I highly recommend them to anyone who wishes to create or renovate an outdoor living space.

Ray and his crew did an extensive deck/patio redesign for us in August, 2020. Easy to work with, worked with us to optimize the design and make it the way we wanted. All work done on time and on-budget. One of the things we really liked is that Ray and his crew really listened to what we wanted and helped figure out how to get it accomplished each step of the way. We have now signed an additional contract with Highline by Mile High Designs to design and build out a complete basement living quarters during the winter months. We recommend Highline by Mile High Designs to anyone wanting quality work and a well finished, reliable product. Jack Jenkins/Katherine Foote

We had such a positive experience working with Ray and his team for our deck & cover! This was a big investment for us, so we knew that finding the right contractor for the job was going to be important. From the initial meeting, we knew that Ray would be the perfect fit. He was very personable, knowledgable about the project, and quick to respond to emails. He always answered our questions in a lot of detail, which we appreciated in order to make decisions and understand the scope of the project. We made a few changes along the way and Ray was very accommodating and even brainstormed some new ideas with us. The online portal was helpful to track these changes as well as payments and project timeline. The onsite team also blew us away! They were very professional and hard-working each day. Not to mention they are incredibly skilled! We still talk about the trim work they did on the ceiling of the deck cover because it's beautiful and something we weren't expecting. We couldn't be happier with how the final product turned out and would recommend Ray and his team to anyone. Our neighbor even hired him to build their deck because we spoke so highly of him, and they're very happy with theirs too!

Ray and his crew did a great job building us a covering for our patio. They had multiple inspections to make sure everything was up to code before moving on to the next thing. We always knew what was going on and when the crew was going to be there. They worked efficiently and finished in the timeframe we were given. The price we payed was what we were expecting. Ray and the crew from Mile High Designs are amazing! I would not go with any other company! Ray has done a master bath remodel for us and now a kitchen remodel and both jobs were beyond expectations! The quality of work was exceptional and the kitchen was done ahead of schedule...something that never occurs and was truly appreciated!! Ray is great about giving you ideas about what you can do, where to go look at fixtures and samples of things and where to find the best quality for the right price. This is most helpful for those of us who are unsure of exactly what to do or have trouble deciding! Next on the list is to replace our large above ground deck and maybe add a permanent covered structure. After seeing all the photos and in person work that he has done...I wouldn't trust anyone else!! Vicky Wolf

Ray and Mile High Designs replaced our existing redwood deck with a Timbertech deck. The construction is top notch and the Timbertech material is extremely durable and essentially maintenance free. Ray’s and his construction team were very friendly, on time and easy to work with. I highly recommend Mile High Designs!!

Commented: who manufacture this railing? is it custom? thank you.This is Timbertech brand railing. The style is called Evolutions Contemporary Builder Rail. The color is Walnut. For the balusters we used Deckorators Aluminum. The rail is all built on site.
