J R'S Custom Decks

JR decks just finished a job at my home. They removed the old weathered deck and built a new custom deck using Trex material. His crew is a group of highly skilled workers that wasted no time getting the job done. JR gave me bids for composite material as well as treated wood. I opted for the composite and I can't believe how great the deck looks now. Everything was done on time. I highly recommend this company.

J.R. bid on demolishing and hauling off my old wood deck and gave me bids on building a new, smaller deck with either treated wood or Trex composite decking. One of the reasons I contacted J.R. was his expertise building with Trex, which was the material I ended up selecting. He made several helpful design suggestions, including how to save money on the railing. He maintained excellent communication throughout the project and his crew did an excellent job on both the structure and the finish details. Everyone was prompt and courteous. They finished within a week and did a good job with the final clean up. My new deck looks great and I have received several compliments from neighbors. I highly recommend J.R.'s Custom Decks for the high quality of the construction and the customer service.

JR and his team did a fantastic job. They were on time every day, even working through the rain at times! JR takes the time to answer all of your questions and explain their building process. The quality of the work they did is outstanding, we love our deck! JR was also the most reasonably priced of the multiple quotes we received on top of all that!!! We hired J.R. Custom Decks to repair mistakes made by our original deck installer who doesn't seem to be in business now. Wish we had found J.R. first !! They called back and arrived when they said they would. I appreciate them taking the time (around 1-2 hours) to fix our issues on a deck they didn't build. J.R.'s Custom Decks was hired to build a deck using Trex around a built-in Endless Pool swim/spa. The job had some specific requirements for maintenance access and storage. JR and his crew did an excellent job of accomplishing these goals, and at the same time, minimizing their visual impact on the project. JR's proposal was competitive and fair, and handled without any "hard-sell". The project was started and finished on-time. The workers were all very professional and always cleaned up at the end of the day and end of job. The quality of work was excellent and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. We'd definitely hire this company again for any future projects.

J.R. came to my house at my request to give me some advice about what could be done with problems I was having with my deck. I didn’t know if my rotting deck really just needed to be taken down, or if there was any way to salvage some of the better parts. He was professional, on time, and very clear in recommendations. He presented options to me and helped me decide on the best ways to save money yet end up with a deck I expected to last a very long time. I approved a precise diagram with costs explained for the new wood product used for the construction. He and his workers razed the rotted wood, poured new concrete for shoring, and completed work on a beautiful deck in about 5 days. My yard was completely cleaned up at the conclusion and all trash hauled away. I am very pleased with my new deck and would not hesitate to reconmend JR to anyone wanting a quality job done at a reasonable price.

What can I say about JR’s Custom Decks? First of all I am very satisfied with the work JR did. Trex deck with hot tub over 1,500 sq ft. He built the deck the way I wanted. He built the deck at the cost he said he would. He built the deck in a timely manner. His workers were courteous and very hard workers. The best thing I can say is if I were to build another deck today I would have JR build it.
