Lakevue Renovations

Fantastic deck, garage and main floor remodel. We first started working with Lakevue Renovations at the beginning of 2022 and started with a deck replacement. Working with Jeff, the owner, was an absolute pleasure and he listened to our design ideas and added some really great improvements. Next, we wound up hiring Lakevue to change quite a few things to the exterior of our house, including converting a three-car garage to a two-car garage with ample storage. This required quite a few trades and the end result was kept on schedule and looks absolutely fantastic. All the changes fit the character of the house and the style we were going with perfectly and we have had numerous complements on the completed work. Finally, we hired Lakevue for a nearly total remodel of the first floor of our house, a project which took several months and again Jeff did a fantastic job keeping the project on schedule and working through issues in the house and with subcontractors. It's never fun when things come up, but Jeff did a great job communicating very clearly when things did and brought solutions and options as appropriate. And I will mention that the subs that Jeff brought in were generally top-notch which makes a huge difference for large, complex projects such as ours. Bottom line, if you are looking for a contractor for a project of any complexity and want great results then Lakevue Renovations is the company to hire.

My wife and I contracted Lakevue Renovations to refurbish our back deck in December of 2020 with work to begin in February of 2021. Throughout the process Jeff was professional and attentive and made sure we understood what the process was going to be, how long it would take and what the costs would be. Once work started Jeff and Jason quickly took down the old deck and begin work installing the new one. As with any project we ran into a few snags here and there but throughout it all Jeff was there to explain what happened and what our options were to go forward. We did have a few months delay thanks to the City of Sammamish and COVID but through it all Jeff kept in contact and made sure we knew what was going on. In the end Jeff and Jason did a great job and the results speak for themselves! The deck is beautiful and all of the little accents such as post lights, stair lights, under deck lights and sofffit really make the deck stand out. In addition Jason added some neat little flourishes where the deck meets the side of the house that makes it feel like it blends in rather than stops abruptly. And the Trex RainEscape drainage system is a must have for the rainy PNW! I am extremely happy with my deck and would recommend Lakevue Renovations to anyone who wants a new deck or simply wants to spruce up their old/existing deck.

We got the deck and paving done by Lakevue this summer, Clean, Professional and high quality work. Took a little longer than anticipated but at the end very happy with the outcome. Jeff is very responsive and attention to details is second to none. No cutting corners to finish the project on time or addition of new "costs". Thanks Amit

I would like to take a moment to share a shining review of Lakevue Renovations; owned by Jeff Dodge. We wanted and needed to have our guest bath completely remodeled, so we consulted a good friend of ours who drew up the plan/design for the renovation. He then referred, and highly recommended Lakevue to do the demolition and reconstruction. They did an excellent job! Throughout the entire process, they were dependable, always on time, and very professional in their workmanship. Jeff, the owner, stayed close to the job and visited a number of times to oversee the construction. The gentlemen who did the work were extremely knowledgeable, and did a meticulous job all the way from demolition to completion. Their attention to detail in installation of the fixtures, cabinetry and tile work, was superb! We couldn't have been any happier with the job that they did! We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a remodel project of any size.

Jeff Dodge and Jason are excellent craftsmen; displaying exacting standards in the build quality of our Azek deck. Jeff was responsive to my request for proposal and spent time on site; assessed the requirements, summarized his approach, provided recommendations and a rough estimate. After looking at the products of other contractors (decks in the neighborhood), we decided on Lakevue Renovations. We were very pleased with the results -- beauty and quality. Lakevue Renovations is a quality company that stands behind their work. My company did gutters for Jeff on a Kirkland project. When the homeowner had a concern about not having fascia, Jeff had us out to remove the gutters, then they installed fascia, and had us come back at a later date to reinstall the gutters. I was so impressed by Jeff's flexibility with his customer, as it was a much larger undertaking then originally planned, and which the homeowner had signed off for. Lakevue Renovations is committed to the customer, and will make sure you receive what you are asking for. Highly recommend this contractor as they have integrity.

Jeff Dodge and his company did a bathroom remodel about two years ago. I have had nothing but problems with the shower. The grout continues to chip out, even after he sent someone out to fix it the first time a year ago. Now I have found that the shower tile on the floor was not properly applied and water has leaked through. The tile easily pulls up when it shouldn’t. There is black also mold forming under the tile. I have had to pull up the shower tile floor and I’m in the process of replacing it. Also, the glass shower door was not hung properly and the door continues to slip out of the hinges. This continues to happen after he sent someone out to fix it a year ago. Other tile experts have seen the tile work in the shower and on the bathroom floor and said it was poor work, which includes exposed cut edges on the floor tile. I spent a lot of money on this remodel and I know I over paid by double. That realization was bad enough but to know that the work was poorly done and I have to pay more to fix all the problems is even more bothersome. This shower is only two years old. Save yourself the headache and do not hire Jeff. He does not care about quality work or customer satisfaction.

Jeff and his crew are professionals. Jeff was very helpful and flexible in putting together a set of plans and drawings that met our expectations and Shoreline regulations for added a deck and stairs to the second level of the house. The quality of the work and finished product was excellent.

Built a deck in my back yard as well as front porch steps. Redid siding on house and installed exterior door.

Highly professional approach to all aspects of design and construction. Small firm so things took longer than they might have, however, everything got completed to satisfaction.

Jeff is very professional. He has a super great team. I purchased a ~50 years old house, damage and mold everywhere, full home remodeling required. I googled a a lot, got quota from 7 companies or general contractors, I decided to work with Jeff finally. At the beginning of the project Jeff might be kind of business man, do not be scared, just relax, everything he does is for your satisfaction. His quota was pretty fair. His estimation is NOT free but you will get refund if you sign contract with him. At the end of the remodeling Jeff will have professional cleaning company deep clean your house. It just looked like brand new. I attached some pictures. Look at the HW stairs, very precisely installed. I trust Jeff, highly recommend him.
