She made us feel as if we were her only clients and promptly and thoroughly updated us throughout the project. And the crew that worked on the sunroom worked together like a well oiled machine. My experience with NJSA has been a wonderful one. Construction could be very stressful. However, they made it an easy and enjoyable experience. They answered every question and were extremely patient with me. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to construction do's and don'ts. Andy and Ricardo were absolutely great! For a living I design & decorate sets for television and film which is so exciting, so when I was ready to design and put together my own room I was thrilled, we waited along time for this. I work with contractors everyday so I had pretty high expectations. After doing my research I found that NJ Sunrooms was the best choice for many reasons, first the product it was what sold me on doing a 4 season sunroom as opposed to an actual addition the windows are what make this room. Then you have the knowledge of each department and every step was communicated and discussed everything is easier when your dealing with professionals. We built our new house three years ago and the one area in the house that didn't get used much at all is the raised patio. We wanted to make the area more useful but we were very hesitant because we didn't want to do any major change to our new house that might end up looking like it's an add-on instead of something that's was on the original plan. Today, the resale value of a house is not in the pure square footage anymore, but rather in bright and airy open floorplans, with multi-function and efficiently designed spaces, and lots of high-quality windows. In the old days, houses had many smaller, chopped-up spaces, and next came the sprawling, but often disconnected floorplans. Following the NOT SO BIG HOUSE movement, current buyers want more efficient and cozy homes, with the main living spaces central or connected, flowing into each other, and always flooded with light. We've lived in our 1940's home since 1998, and have always enjoyed its floorplan and how sunny and pleasant it already was. And yet, since NJ Sunroom Additions built this great room, there is simply no comparison. We purchased a sunroom addition from Peter after getting estimates from 4 companies. Peter and his staff are very professional and did a terrific job. Some of the selling points were that we were able to customize the sunroom to our needs and that the sunroom was not made of aluminum. We were looking for a room addition more than the typical sunroom. What we have is a cross between a traditionally built room and sunroom. The kneewall is 27" high and is stick built with 2X6 framing, insulation, and drywall. The sill plate is treated wood. The windows and roof are attractive sunroom components. The windows look like they have brickmold on the outside. The cathedral roof is 6" thick and was shingled to match the rest of the house. The kneewall is vinyl sided on the outside to match the house (when we have it resided). The footer is 18" wide by 36" deep, the concrete pad is 6" on top of a 6 mil vapor barrier and polystyrene insulation and reinforced with wire mesh. How did the company make this process easier- they accommodated our every need. There was limited access to the construction site so they hand dug the footer; we changed our mind on the size of the patio poured next to the room and they increased it's size; we had to hold up construction for a week due to personnel reasons and they delayed it. We felt very safe with our construction crew and left the doors unlocked at times if we had to go out. Make sure everything you discuss is written in the contract. We thought some minor plumbing was included per our initial discussions but it was not written in the contract and we had to hire someone. We felt comfortable with this because it may have been a misunderstanding on our part. Pictures are right after final inspection, no landscaping and interior painting just started.

The first home we renovated with NJSA was our family home in 2015. It’s a Dutch Colonial and like many older, small to medium sized homes, the property itself is a nice size but all living spaces were facing the street, without a pleasant flow to the backyard. The added difficulty was that the staircase is on the back wall, seemingly blocking the option to open the living room to an addition, and so the only access to the backyard was through the crowded 6x9 kitchen: so clumsy and discouraging hosting family and friends. The back of the home is on the North side too, making the kitchen feel even more dark and cramped. NJSA’s sunrooms and conservatories are not only the highest insulated additions, with the strongest yet slimmest profile framing allowing for the most glass and transparency, with hollow beams allowing all electrical to be hidden… they are also custom designed and precisely measured to best fit into your existing style, shapes and features. They can be built at any height too, so any space you choose can open to these additions. They allow you to reorient your home to flow into the back or side yards and frame your favorite views, thereby completely transforming how the home lives. And whereas other seasonal sunrooms will feel hot/cold and humid/damp, the NJSA highly engineered systems - with higher ratings than the building specs of most existing homes - will actually make your home more comfortable and efficient. When I researched all sunroom companies in our market in 2014, NJSA was the only one who could build modular additions that were so well insulated they were allowed by code to be installed in open plan! Their architect plans get approved, and highly skilled employees get all inspections passed and permits closed, and thanks to the offsite precision manufacturing, the inconvenience onsite is minimal and soon your home will be open and bright the way families love to live today. The heat pump will allow you to heat and cool the new volume efficiently, and when strategically placed it can also make your existing home more efficient. After the 12x24, 288 sq ft cathedral sunroom addition on the North side of this home was completed, our utility bill was literally cut in half, alleviating all concerns and way above our expectations. When it was time to sell our home, ordinary 2-3 season sunrooms would have been a concern and liability, but sharing the lifetime warranty and specs of this sunroom, and our before/after PSEG bills sold the house! From the moment you walk into the front door, your eyes are drawn to the beautiful light of the sunroom thanks to the structural opening NJSA did manage to create beyond the staircase, the kitchen now appears twice as large and can hold 4x the storage, and the sunroom with vaulted ceilings and full view of the backyard is just glorious. Look at the perfect symmetry of the French doors to the deck, the four equal panels for a gracious, classic look, without obstructions even with the doors fully opened: you can only achieve this with such a tailored addition. This home finally flows beautifully into the backyard, all the daylight and moonlight floods the home, and you can throw all the windows open and listen to the fountain and the children play... This custom addition allowed us to live inside-outside, and finally enjoy a bright and airy kitchen in the center of the home, with 180 degree views from sunrise to sunset… I've done my best to find old pictures to show you the before/after; please excuse my kiddo as he stars in a few of them. The transformation is so remarkable it is hard to understand the before. Still do try, and I recommend you invite NJSA into your home to see how they can transform the way your home lives too.

Our experience with New Jersey sunroom additions has been terrific. We purchased a home within existing sunroom in severe disrepair. Peter was with us step-by-step through out the design and answered all our questions and concerns as this was going to be a big and expensive job. Brian was wonderful to work with and he truly measured twice to inshore a perfect fit which it clearly is. As our sunroom was being built overseas, Peter and Brian kept us in the loop as to our status. Discovered Paul who previously did work on my conservatory now at this company. Requested to have my conservatory power washed since it was built in 2011, and I live on a pond. Also desired a solution to peeling brown paint on white colored ledge. Paul came up with a permanent solution by custom designing a white aluminum edge to apply to the ledge. I truly could not be more ecstatic with the outcome. Paul is a superb professional who does superior work. You can highly trust the work will be completed to the highest level of satisfaction- and I'm a perfectionist.

A gasket had slipped out of position at the point where the sunroom meets the roof of the house. I am an orchid enthusiast and my sunroom is old. It was a small job and I was having difficulty with the original vendors of the sunroom (Four Seasons) who didn't want to be bothered coming to my home and fixing it. NJ Sunroom Additions--Home Energy Upgrades USA advertised that they would repair any sunroom. So I called. A technician, Paul, called within two days of my online request. He was courteous, gave me an estimate to which I agreed. We made an appointment. He arrived as agreed upon and did the job with no muss or fuss. I am very happy. I will never call Four Season again.
