We had a deck built by RIS. Gene provided excellent recommendations on how to maximize the space for our deck. He walked us through different material options and recommended materials that would work best for our needs. The deck turned out great with excellent craftsmanship. The deck was completed on time and budget. We had a very positive experience with RIS.

My wife and I love the deck Ray and his team built for us. He provided us with good design ideas. The turnaround time from signing the contract to having the deck 100% complete exactly as promised. That gave us more time in the summer to enjoy our new deck.

We recently hired Residential Decks, Porches, Patios company to build a deck with patio for our new house. We were truly impressed by the honesty and professionalism demonstrated by Ray and Gene, owners/partners of the company, as well as by many crew members. As shown in the attached photos, the final product of this project is stylish, carefully built, and beautiful. What impressed us the most is the open-mindedness of Ray, who did his best to listen to us and accommodate our needs. He provided many options for us to choose from, and would not hesitate to redo things that we were not satisfied in the first place. Also in the process Ray caught a few errors that we would otherwise not be able to notice, and he promptly ordered the crew to correct those. Many crew members are skillful, but the most outstanding ones are Oscar, head of the deck team, and Lennin, head of the patio team. We were amazed by their workmanship. The project took longer than expected because of many reasons, including material delivery, weather, design change, etc. But to us the number one concern was quality of work, which in the end we feel very much satisfied. We had a few companies to estimate the cost of the project. We found Residential's price is comparable with others. With all the good things listed in the above, we believe it is truly worth it! We will definitely hire them again if we have other projects in future, and we strongly recommend Residential company to anyone who has similar needs. Because of the reasons provided in the above, we give them the highest rating for this project.

Ray Sachs and his crew did a fabulous job replacing my large rear deck of approx 750 sq ft with high quality composite decking. The substructure also needed to be replaced. The crew was meticulous in their work and made suggestions to improve the quality of the finished deck. I am thrilled with the new deck and HIGHLY recommend this builder!

Where once was a deck with unsafe rails which was long overdue for replacement now stands a beautiful enclosed screened porch. Ray Sachs of Residential Improvement Services and his crew turned an idea into an amazing and gorgeous reality. From design through total construction my dream outside living space quickly grew into an area I have to force my self to leave! Professional, caring and an eye for final detail and absolutely approachable for any question, I couldn’t have asked for a better contractor!

We met with 3 contractors and chose Ray for our project. He was very upfront throughout the whole process and never pressured us for the sale. His estimate was the most detailed and descriptive of work to be performed. Ray was patient with our questions and helps us with what we needed for our HOA approval. Ray handles all permitting and scheduling county inspections himself. Ray was on-site the majority of the days of the build making sure everything went smoothly and answered questions along the way. RIS designed a new porch to be installed on the front of our home once the existing damaged stone was taken down, plywood replaced and stubs reinforced as needed and lastly covered the front steps and walkway with flagstone. The crew were great craftsmen, friendly, very professional, and cleaned up the area very well each day before they left. Our home looks like a new home that is beautiful and truly inviting to all who come to visit. We have had several neighbors stop by to compliment the work.

We had our existing deck converted to a screened in porch. It turned fantastic! I am happy with the finished porch and I know we will get a lot of use and enjoyment using it. Only issue was the electrician. I would make sure to get a written estimate and completion time. Our fault for not following best practices.

Ray and his team did an amazing job. They started on time and completed a few days early and on budget. The team showed up everyday and at the same time. Ray was out the first couple of days and every few days. The project took about 10 days to complete. RIS redesigned, built and repaired brick work for my portico. The original one was a flat top that had rotted out, Ray designed a metal hip roof so it won't rot out. Even custom painted the underside blue for me. The men were great, friendly, very professional, and played with my 2 year old through the window. My son loved watching them work.

Raymond is very professional and gave us great advice . He knew exactly what we wanted just by describing it once and made the drawings perfect to the point that we never had to change or go over it again . His crew is also very professional and work clean . All agreements were kept and i would hire him again .

They did a deck and patio and exceeded our expectations. Raymond was very professional as was the crew. Took about a month to complete.

We met with 4 contractors and chose Ray on the spot. He was the most honest and upfront throughout the process. He never pressured us for the sale and was patient with questions as well as our impossible homeowners association. Ray handles all permitting and inspections himself and I got the impression from the county building inspector that they know and trust Ray's work. Ray was on-site each day of the build making sure everything went smoothly. Just as important as customer service was the build quality provided by his foreman Gus. Gus and his crew took pride in what they did and really went the extra mile making sure things were done right. The deck is incredibly well built and looks amazing. It was a big investment for us and in the end we couldn't be happier. We used a high end composite material and Ray worked with us on our design requests to include a picture frame border as well as a diagonal install on the deck boards. I wish I had better pictures because these don't do the job justice, just take my word, you can not go wrong with this company.

We had an idea for adding a covered front porch and stone patio to our house. RIS helped us complete the design and then performed all of the work including demo and pulling permits with our county. The project turned out better than we had imagined possible. Ray and his team were clearly skilled craftsman who took pride in their work and it shows. We now have a beautiful, inviting, amazing outdoor area that will provide enjoyment to everyone who comes through our home. RIS has our highest recommendation.

Three season room, deck, patio with fire pit. High quality workmanship. Excellent work ethic - started ahead of schedule and completed ahead of schedule. Felexible to work with - we changed color of decking and stone after they arrived and we didn't like them. Ray Sachs was very patient with us as we created the design and all throughout the project. He is very knowledgeable and had some great ideas. Super satisfied with the outcome!

Let me just say that this company made a lasting impression on how great they were. I had 6 decking companies come out to my house and Residential was the most professional, customer friendly, and most cost effective. Raymond and his team were always friendly and worked with us to ensure we had a great result and exactly what we wanted. The owner was very easy to work with and provided us with a couple of options for our deck project. Upon signing the contract he was able to start the work within the timeframe quoted (even a bit early), and completed the job in a few days as expected. The crew was punctual, built a great space for us, and cleaned up the site after.

Our screened in porch was built as lovely as we hoped. RIS listened to everything we wanted in our space and was able to make it happen. We were given a quote on the same day and detailed drawings to help us understand and envision the porch. He patiently answered our questions and made recommendations on materials. We hired RIS to build a new maintenance free deck on our home. From coming to my house on Memorial Day Monday for a free estimate to completing the project on time and within budget they were 5+ stars all the way. Raymond had great ideas and the final product was very well built and well designed. The creative additions of using slate on our deck and a rectangle pavillion pushed the project beyond our expectations. We would not hesitate to use them and will use them when we are ready for the pool phase of our yard. They were all very friendly, worked most weekends and were very neat.

My wife and I engaged RIS to tackle a challenging deck project that others were unable to address. We collaboratively designed the deck, addressing elevation challenges, working in rounded edges and building around a treasured Dawn Redwood. The results were fantastic - no one has every visited without asking who did this for us. The crew was courteous, professional and cleaned up the work site daily. We were referred by friends to RIS and recently hired them for our home improvement projects, which included a new front porch, sidewalk and deck. We found the entire experience to be pleasant.
