Sun Boss

In December, 2013, we decided we wanted to add a sunroom to the back of the house that would be usable year round. After doing some research we contacted Sun Boss. The last time we had contracted someone to do work for us it turned out to be a huge disaster, so when we decided on this project, we took time to really check out the various contractors. We are so happy we chose Sun Boss. This project required removing a back patio slab and it's cover. Pouring a new slab that was larger than the previous one and building a 364 sq. ft. sunroom. The sunroom has one wall of all windows with a 2' wall at the bottom, another wall that is solid and has a glass door, and one more wall that is windows with a 2' wall at the bottom and a glass door. The 4th wall was the back of the house which was stucco and they put wallboard up on that wall. The representatives from Sun Boss were very thorough and communicated frequently with us, sending drawings for approval and making changes when requested. After every stage of the project, we were contacted by the main office to make sure everything met with our approval. EVERYTHING they said they would do, they did do and in the timeframe and costs promised. All of the sub-contractors were courteous, professional and extremely good at their job. We passed inspections with flying colors. In that Sun Boss is a good 1-1/2 to 2-hour drive from our house, we were impressed with the timeliness of the arrival of the Sun Boss reps and sub-contractors. Some stayed here in our area, some drove back and forth everyday. They would call us if they were stuck in a traffic jam that might delay their arrival. At no time did we have to wonder where the workers were or when they would arrive. Destruction of the old patio began near the end of January and the project was completed by mid-March. As we went into the project expecting delays and problems due to our previous experience, we were amazed and extremely pleased with the ease of this project. We highly recommend Sun Boss.
