We had a fantastic experience with Tellurian Gardens. Scott and Erin are personable and knowledgeable. Their team of guys worked extremely hard in blistering heat on our extensive hardscaping and grading project and were very pleasant to have around; in fact, my kids still talk about them! The end product is just what we hoped for and solidly constructed. Scott was always available to discuss modifications and receptive to our input. I highly recommend working with them!

We called on Tellurian Gardens to replace our old, cracked patio with water-permeable pavers, and to add a small flagstone seating area elsewhere in our back yard. The patio had long been a problem during heavy rains when water would collect, occasionally in sufficient quantity to cause minor flooding of our basement. Tellurian Gardens worked with us to craft a plan manage the water, and they installed a beautiful patio based on that plan. Concurrently, they added a charming seating area at the back of the yard. In the end, we have two gorgeous areas in our back yard , and our flooding problems have disappeared (the definitive test came last week when torrential storms didn’t create so much as a puddle). Tellurian Garden’s workers were accommodating, efficient and friendly, and the project’s pricing was reasonable -- especially in light of the quality we received. There is nothing about the project that we aren’t pleased with, and we readily recommend Tellurian Gardens to anyone considering outdoor improvements for their home.

We found Tellurian Gardens on their website and had Scott out to our house to discuss our project. After several meetings and revisions he submitted a bid and the design was great. He sent us lots of pictures and worked with us to select colors, details and cool additional features like a metal planter with sword grass that picks up water off our covered kitchen. We wanted to build a bocce ball court on our side yard. Although he had never built one, he worked closely with us to design it and come up with an affordable cost. Scott provided us with a very detailed, firm quote that contained great detail. We discussed our desire to have a fixed price project, except for change orders. Many contractors are resistant to fixing their price, but he was very responsive and worked hard to detail all elements before we committed. Once we began construction although it was very wet, he kept the project moving forward through the mud bog during excavation. His crew was very friendly, polite and made sure things were cleaned up every day. They also worked with us as fixtures arrived, moving them into the garage. They even escorted an elderly neighbor through the project when she showed up unexpectedly when we were gone and wanted to take a look. Scott constantly communicated on progress and gave us plenty of time to address the usual questions and possible changes that arose during construction. His pricing on change orders was very fair and clear. Erin his wife takes care of the books and was very responsive when an error by our bank caused her bill to be slightly higher than we owed. We are thrilled with the result. It has totally changed our house, allowing us to spend tons of time outside and creating a great space to entertain groups from 4 to 40. We are very happy we met Scott and his wife Erin and are very satisfied customers. Scott and Erin are great examples of the kind of creative energy which can be brought to traditional businesses. We highly recommend them and urge you to take a look at their work.

We consulted with multiple contractors and even paid for plans - all paled by comparison to Scott and Tellurian Gardens. We met, discussed ideas and he was the most professional of the lot, going over existing deck and details to make sure he got it right. End result was outstanding and he was the best price compared to the other bids. Highly recommend this company - hit their budget and with quality. We intend to have them do additional projects in the future.

We had a challenging and comprehensive job for Tellurian Gardens, which included a stacked natural stone wall, permeable-paver patio/drive and complete overhaul of our landscaping. Scott and company were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. The development of the design was fluid and thorough with a lot of back and forth. The execution of the final work was professional. We are more than pleased with the results and look forward to continued work with Tellurian Gardens in the future.
