My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Since our inception in 1980, The Awning Factory has grown to become more than just awnings. Now into our second generation as a family-owned business, our focus towards innovation and quality has led us to an expanded product line in the past decade to include solar screens, pergola awnings, patio furniture and firepits. Our long-standing relationship with Aristocrat Shade Products in Markham, Ontario has continued to allow us the opportunity to offer a Canadian made awning to the Calgary market that is unmatched in both quality and workmanship. Our commitment to strong relationships with our Canadian suppliers and an unwavering focus on quality has made The Awning Factory your first choice for shade products in Calgary and area. Come visit our showroom Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays (April thru August) 9:00am - 1:00pm. We are closed Sundays & long weekends. Showroom available by appointment only November, December and January.

We were 100% satisfied with The Awning Factory. The staff are pleasant to deal with and the installation was professional and seamless. The awning is well made and should give us many years of shade. We would recommend this company to anyone.

We installed a beautiful awning for our back deck this year 2018. The service provided by the company was superb! It is a family ran business and they actually care about the customers and their satisfaction with the product. The staff were personable and supportive. There was a flaw in the fabric of our awning and it was no trouble to replace the fabric. They are great company to deal with ...no wonder they have been in business for decades!

Great product and customer service. They matched pricing. Quick install. I did have to wait longer then promised for install by a week. If it hadn't been so hot, it would not be an issue. I'm very happy with the awning.

We looked at 3 companies to provide an estimate for a new awning and the response from Randy was awesome, quick and answered our questions in detail over a couple of email exchanges. When Jason came out to review our site and show us samples he was on time and professional and informative on what to look for. When the guys came to install they were again very professional. on time and fast. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new awning.

Had 2 awnings installed in the spring and I couldn't be happier. The install was as expected. They installers showed up on time and finished on time. They cleaned up well afterwards too and took away all the garbage.

This is our 3rd summer with our awning and we absolutely love it. They were efficient and the the awning has to be, and is, sturdy for our windy acreage living. The colour accents the house beautifully and we couldn't be happier. :)

We wanted a patio awning installed on our garage because it is conveniently located on our patio. We could not find what we wanted until we went to The Awning Factory. They were more than happy to help us. The people at The Awning Factory were all excellent in explaining the fabrics and mechanisms of the awnings, and the installer was excellent as well. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality service and material. We love this awning, we opted for the hand turner, not electric, but it is no problem to turn in and out.
