The Porch Company

The Porch Company built our dream screened porch for us this spring. What can we say other than "why did we wait so long"? They built a beautiful, well built porch and Nancy was so easy to work with, as was the entire staff. Once everthing was completed, we actually missed the crew! My husband wanted an overhang for his grilling duties and they designed it perfectly. The quality of their workmanship is top notch!

Rachael has been my go-to designer for over 4 years. She has designed 3 houses for me and has saved me TONS of money and headaches. She always gives me tons of options and really knows what she’s doing. I love every project we’ve done together! Highly recommend!

They constructed a screened porch on an existing raised deck plus added on a grilling deck. They did a great job; very good attention to detail. Nancy was the only contractor I got bids from who thought outside the typical square-box design. They were easy to work with when any issues came up (as they will on a major project) but they worked me to fix it or find a solution. As an added bonus, my neighbors who work from home on either side of me were very happy with how their crews treated the surrounding work area. All of the workmen, whether employees or subcontractors, were very polite and accommodating of my requests. Updated 11/2019 - some of the external trim had loosened due to wind storms. I contacted the company to see if they could recommend a contractor to perform the repair. Their response? “We’ll be out tomorrow to fix it”. And they did a great repair job. Wow, now that’s superior customer service!

I used this company for a screened in porch that I built on a new construction and it was beautiful. Their work is excellent!

Let me start out by saying that I am not one to take the time to write a review, but felt the need to share my happiness with all of you in dealing with The Porch Co. My husband and I decided that we wanted to tear down our existing wooden deck and awning and replace with a low maintenance alternative. My first thought was “Will it still look beautiful but yet unique”? I started researching different deck surfaces, railings and columns that were made out of PVC. I came across The Porch Company on Pinterest when searching for unique panels as I did not want my porch to look like everyone else’s porch. I contacted Nancy Moore, founder of The Porch Company, in mid April of this year to inquire about the many panels they had to offer. She quickly sent me over photos, along with details on the construction as I hired my own general contractor since we live in Pittsburgh, PA. The panels I chose were the Cathedral Picket Panels to go along with our English Tutor style home. We were able to utilize the panels from The Porch Company and the railing system through Trex as we were trying to be as cost effective as we could but still have the look we envisioned. Nancy was extremely helpful in helping me figure out how many panels we needed and then sent me over to her customer service department where I then dealt with Rachael Moore who set up a cart and emailed me the link for easy check out. My order was placed on 4/22/15 and it was shipped by April 30th via. UPS. When I received the order, I immediately opened the box to make sure there was no damage and that I had received my order in its entirety. Everything was just as I expected, PERFECT! My vision for my new porch was to make it look like a retreat, someplace I could come home from work, relax, enjoy a glass of wine and have great conversation with friends and family. My porch is everything I had envisioned and more thanks to The Porch Co. I would highly recommend the Porch Co., its staff and most importantly their products. Beth Hannisick 6/15/15

One of the best enhancements we have ever done. The crew came in and quickly tore down our old 16' X 24' deck, paying close attention to our landscaping in the immediate area. The work site was always clean at the end of the day. Each crew showed up in a timely manner every day. Total buildout time for our new screened in porch was 2 mos. from start to finish. The craftsmanship of framing, trim work, painting, and installation of the stone fireplace were all outstanding. They also worked very well with Brentwood's codes dept., saving us the hassle that the maze of paperwork can be. We've now lived with our porch for a year and loved every minute. I would recommend The Porch Company to all my friends. We are that confident in the product and services they provide.

We love our Porch Company Porch. Nancy and her team were professional and easy to work with throughout the entire project. Eleven years later our porch still looks fantastic. We tweaked the design several times and I was so appreciative of Nancy's philosophy that the design process is an ongoing experience.

The Porch Company and their employees are absolute professionals. Their work is top quality and their ultimate goal is customer satisfaction. The mission of the company is to provide an excellent experience from the start of the design process through the completion of the project. I say this from a perspective most people do not have. I have worked for the Porch Company as an employee, an independant contractor and as a client. When I was ready for a major remodel on my own home I did not hesitate to ask the Porch Company to design my project. Nancy Moore and crew are excellent at what they do.

We have used The Porch Company and Nancy's expertise with every house we've owned. Because we tend to buy older homes that need renovation, we have a LOT of experience with contractors. I can safely say that Nancy Moore and The Porch Company is the ONLY contractor we will use again and again. She is creative. She listens. She does exactly what she says she's going to do when she's going to do it for the cost she says she can do it. She has ALWAYS added value to our homes.
