Working with the entire team at VanDeck was an amazing experience start to finish. I reached out to Vandeck in February and received a follow up call almost immediately. Andriy came to our house a few day after we spoke and measured the space. From there he drew up a design based on the details I had asked for. After he shared the design with us we met again (on the phone) and reviewed some changes we wanted to see in the plans. He was so prompt with updating the visuals I was honestly in awe. After we came to an agreement on design and were given the quote we signed the contract. We opted to pay for the deck in installments which made it much easier for us to move forward with. The team was able to start on our deck about 2 weeks after the contract was signed. It was still winter so weather had prevented them from starting sooner. I also believe our timing was perfect because we were able to get our deck in before the summer rush. The team who built the deck were amazing. They were so kind, the cleaned up after themselves (they had to bring all of the supplies through our basement as there is no yard access). I felt like the back yard looked cleaner when they were done than it had when they started. The earthquake in NYC hit about a week after the deck was complete and I noticed that one of the posts on our pergola needed longer screws. Other than that there was zero impact on the deck from the earthquake it is so strong and sturdy. I reached out to Andriy and he had the guys over within a day or two to add some additional screws for support. Overall it was an amazing experience working with the Vandeck team and I would absolutely recommend them. If we ever move to a new home I can promise that they will be one of the first calls I make.

The Vandeck company did an amazing job replacing our small staircase into a large 22x18ft composite deck. The workers came everyday on time. Andre the manager was always responsive, helpful and professional. His workers were also very professional and worked hard each day to ensure the project was completed on time. Our deck was built in the 10days that was promised and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Vandeck for any of your decking needs.

We shopped around big time and found the Vandeck gave the best service and price out there. We found some ways to cut corners and save money, but for a good price they gave us a deck we love and should last many many years. Also I love that they provide 3D renderings of the deck before building. I didn't see any other companies doing that. That was a huge help. The deck came out on time, for the cost they quoted, and looking great. Highly recommend.

Vandeck has transformed our backyard and remodeled a patio deck. Their estimates of work were accurate, communication of design was transparent, and project management skills are top notch. They're super flexible and work with you to get things just the way you like for as close to your budget as is possible. Communication in all phases of the project was excellent. We recently had Vandeck Builders rebuild/renovate our deck. 
 Right from the first contact they were thoroughly professional. We had very specific constraints on the window of time when the work could happen, and he was very attentive to our requirements. The communication is excellent - timely and clear.

 The whole process, from choosing the material or styles, to the scheduling and the work itself, was extremely smooth. Having had to babysit contractors/workers in the past, we were fully expecting to spend substantial amounts of time during the project - this project proved to be a very pleasant departure from that. 

 The workers themselves were also excellent, professional and thorough. We had heavy planters with large plants that needed to be moved - and they did an excellent job of that as well, with no damage to the plants.

 We are very happy with the overall result - the deck looks excellent, as we head into spring with the garden intact.

Everything was first class from start to finish. An old deck was removed and a new constructed ahead of schedule. The guys are professional, neat, and always on time. I would highly recommend them!

We hired Andriy and Star Touch NYC to replace our old, rotting deck with a new deck made of composite materials. He started the job on a Monday and was done by Saturday. He suggested lighting, which we really love, and built a corner bench seat with a table in the middle and wide arm rests for drinks. His crew showed up on time each day, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite. We are so happy to have our new deck and enjoy it this summer. We highly recommend Star Touch NYC.
