We hired Woodscape to build our porch/deck in November 2018 and couldn't be more pleased with the unique design, quality build, and professional execution. Kevin Ludwig offered professional advice and guidance at every turn and never cut corners. Even though the estimated cost of the project was more than we expected, it was 100% worth it. The deck was started and completed on schedule by a talented crew. The craftsmanship exceeded all of our expectations. Woodscape also stands behind its work. We had an issue with warping fir ceiling wood. After attempting to make a repair, Kevin replaced the entire ceiling (at his significant expense) without a single question. He's a real pro. We hired Woodscape Construction to design and build our deck. We felt we had a good idea going into the project what we wanted in terms of size (@500 sf) and materials (Trex), but admittedly we were new to the whole deck building process. From initial consultation through design, pricing, scheduling, construction and successful completion, Kevin and his professional crew made it look easy, taking the time to answer our questions, and delivering everything we wanted while working around some challenging winter weather. We love our new deck, and would recommend Woodscape without hesitation to our neighbors and friends. Now that the deck is done, we're asking Kevin to design a backyard walkway. I would highly recommend Woodscape Construction! I am very particular and picky and not easy to please, however, Woodscape met all my expectations and then some! Their work was meticulous and the crew was very highly skilled and produced quality work. Whenever there was an issue, which didn't happen often, Kevin the owner worked to resolve to my satisfaction. I had a complicated project and Kevin worked through all the details and ensured things were done right and on time. He built a very large 16'x12' pergola, a large Trek deck and a trellis over an outdoor bar and I was very pleased with everything including his attention to detail and helpfulness throughout the entire project. Kevin was always very responsive about returning calls too. The value and quality for the price is exceptional and I would highly recommend Woodscape Construction for any projects. I would definitely use them again for any of my future projects.

Kevin and his crew just finished building a new deck at our house. Overall the experience, construction quality and pricing were excellent. Our old deck was about 20 years and made from pressure-treated wood with the wood flooring nailed to the joists. The pressure-treated wood flooring and railing splintered over time, and there were nail pops everywhere. We decided to go with a maintenance-free Trex transcend line for the new flooring and railing which is not susceptible to the same splintering, and with the hidden screw fasteners, there will no further nail pops. Kevin helped us with the design and construction aspects of our new deck. He also let us know that our existing posts were in good condition and did not need to be replaced. It is always reassuring when a contractor tells you which existing items do not need replacement. There was a delay in starting on the project, but once the crew started, they came each day, including most Saturdays. After contracting many house projects, a crew working each day and not beginning another project before mine is completed stands as one of my biggest contractor concerns. Fortunately, I had so such problems with this company and it would surprise me if Kevin operated other projects any differently. The crew was friendly and worked hard. Being an intermediate DIYer, I frequently checked on the quality of the construction and asked questions. The guys seemed happy enough to answers my queries. I noticed that the guys were frequently checking how level the new joists were coming out as well as the accuracy of their cuts for the new flooring. These are good signs for a quality construction and, indeed, our new deck has no awkward gaps and turned out rock solid. Also, being involved with construction projects so long, I know when a contractor tries to cut costs by using cheaper materials or less than quality build. There were no such issues like that for my new deck. I am pleased with the overall experience which is why I can recommend this company.

Woodscape Construction did an excellent job on a new screened porch for our home. They replaced a very small porch with a larger porch that allows us much more use.
